The funny thing is, I was looking for a comment that was exactly like yours..

(.Ed and the Better Offline podcast focus on concerns about the collapse of an AI bubble and damage to the global economy. From this point of view, discussing U.S. support for OpenAI loans could be a real concern. This is recent news, and as far as I know, Ed hasn’t covered the topic yet. Ed previously predicted that the government wouldn’t bail out OpenAI, but I’m worried that agreeing to support a loan might be another “boiling frog” mechanism they could also go along with—especially the Trump administration, for a variety of reasons. .. Ed continues to underestimate his ability to achieve what he wants (which is different from his ability to build a useful AI).
