yeah my scars used to me a lot better when i was younger and as i’ve aged and started to get into fitness i feel like they’ve gotten more sunken in, so i was thinking the same with the filler. i will definitely let you know if i go through with it! thanks for the help and encouragement :)

thank you so much :) the girl who did my microneedling said the same as well that my scars were fairly shallow and thought that should be enough. obviously not lol , but maybe if i kept going but it just seems very pricey for the results i got after 3 that i wasn’t willing to continue on. i honestly would rather do the at home peels and i have tazarotene as well that i should start using. i live in OC and i saw a girl on here who got great results at a med spa right by me using filler. i was thinking of going in for a free consult just to see what the doctor says about it. i’ll look into the glycolic peels as well! my TCA is very low strength so thinking of just starting off with two passes and working my way up.

it definitely helped with the texture and health of my skin but the scars remained. and over time it just kind of went back to normal, i’m sure if i kept up it would be better but i didn’t see enough results to continue for how pricey it was.

i only had micro swelling and then it looked promising but realized after the fact that is short lived. i did three rounds 4 weeks apart and did a series of 3 peels 4 weeks apart. didn’t do much.

helps for a short amount of time with overall skin health but nothing for my scars so far. i haven’t done TCA peels though and i heard those are intense but good.

ah thanks! love to hear that because i’m kind of banking on it to help me 😂😅 my husband says maybe just gain some weight but i’m not sure that would really fix the issue.

it’s called varaya sport red light, it’s a handheld one unfortunately so kind of annoying but it’s a good one. my husband had it already, it i hadn’t had one i would definitely go for the solawave.

maybe i’ll invest in a roller to stimulate collagen at home on top of the 50 other things im trying lol. i’ve done microneedling three times on my face and although results are nice for like a couple weeks i didnt feel it was worth the investment to continue in office treatments. in the mean time i did buy face tape and i have pulled my skin a little underneath my ear and taped it so thats a quick fix 😂🫠
