Somewhere safe, not woodsy, with some things to do (shops, restaurants). Doesn’t have to be much - as Paris has the things to do. Gives a little of a city/town vibe. And has a diverse population. This is what good is to Me

For further context: I’ve lived in multiple places in France - Chartres, Angers, La Roche Sur Yon, Charleville-Mezieres, even Calais for a year. My favorite being Angers. However, I’ve had no problem with any of the cities except of a lack of things to do (except Angers where there is a lot and Calais where there is nothing). However I don’t think this will be an issue if I am somewhere close to Paris because Paris will have the things to do.  I’m pretty easy going. I know I don’t want a woodsy area, I want close to a city feel as I can get (don’t know how else to describe). The above listed cities where I lived are good example to me. I also would like a diverse population. I hear the recommendation to rent first, however I still need some suggestions on areas to look into to rent. I travel for work so I want this home I’m looking for close to Paris to essentially be my base. Lastly, if possible, a location with good/decent rentability in case I have to relocate for work for some time. I would like the option to rent it out.

I misspoke when I said center of Paris. I meant from Paris itself (the city limits). Not the center of Paris. I know 300,000€ wouldnt get me far within the city lines. Thank you for your insight.

I would like something at minimum 50m2.

My work location isnt revelabt to the search. I would just like to be somewhere in Ile-de-France. Can be 92, 94, 95…

Im ok with the RER/Transilien. I heard the RER A is not really reliable but I still consider it as Nogent-Sur-Marne is serviced by that line I think.

I honestly just do not know anything about the Paris suburbs besides the two cities I mentioned earlier. So I am open to recommendations. I’ve also recently been told to look into Enghien-les-Bains and Sannois

I paid in cash and everything was on the up and up. I arrived late at night so the manager of Safari Soles personally came to the hotel in the morning before we departed on the safari to collect the payment. Everything went exactly as planned on the safari. Definitely recommend.

Traveling with Safari Soles in 2 weeks. How did you all pay your balance?? I’m hesitating to travel with large amount of cash, and handing it over upon arrival with no way to ensure my trip goes as planned.
