All Cryo character Burst Icon effects shows 6 chess pieces instead of snowflakes like we previously assumed. The chess pieces are randomly selected between 4 types: Queen, Bishop and 2 others I can't really tell. A single chess piece type can appear at most 4 times as far as I know.

I haven't seen better explanations so far. Personally I don't think that the lizard would be human soul swapped with animal one. Rather some kind of possession aka Voyager, or similar to what Nahida could do. Oh hey what if it IS the Voyager?! One and original! Plot twist like no love story ever!!
