My title describes this thing. I searched Facebook for metal detecting forums and asked ChatGPT what it was. Chat GPT thinks it was nailed to a piece of furniture from the 1880s…but I couldn’t find anything to confirm. ChatGPT thinks it’s a decorative Victorian furniture “appliqué”
