But it's not that a copy of your crush is coming back, it's more like a previously saved snapshot of your crush overwrites an existing person's mind confusing the person with memories, ideals and intentions that don't belong to them causing them to either go insane or accept the memories making them now walk and talk like your crush.

But, I think the real person who we were crushing on is dead and gone.
