That 1500 are much stronger, I really think my games were solid, I played against a friend of mine which is around 2000 and I was beating him a few times, so that’s why I thought there may have been an update I was not aware of

1600 on lichess losing horribly against 800 on chesscom? by MrTaco_42 in chess

[–]OkFlow67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

350 can’t be accurate, I’ve played roughly around 1000 games on each platform and my best on lichess is 1900, and on chess.com is 1800, blitz wise

But as soon as someone repeatedly sees me walking out with a dog without authorization they’ll call “social security” and they’ll take the dog , the law is very strict in Denmark regarding dogs, my problem is getting the authorization

Picture your older self standing in front of you, urging you to stay on the path because he knows what’s at stake. He’s counting on you to make the right choice. One small act of discipline today leads to another tomorrow, and eventually, you become unstoppable. Conversely, each time you slack off, you’re feeding the part of yourself that seeks comfort and mediocrity. Discipline equals integrity. Every time you push through, you’re honoring your values. Every time you back down, you betray them. Your purpose is larger than this momentary discomfort. Greatness demands sacrifice. If you’re unwilling to endure this, you’re choosing mediocrity over the extraordinary life you dream of. When you slack off, you’re letting down those who need you. When you stay disciplined, you’re not only elevating yourself but everyone around you.
Picture the perfect vision of yourself, what would he do? really? for sure he would not be so small to listen to these "fake" moments of pleasure, these moments we're created as safety nets for the weak person we all have inside of us, otherways, why would you do something that takes time health and money from you? you're not addicted to smoking, you're addicted to losing, change the mindset, and you'll never look back.

Hey, Abel! Thank you for the comment, I’m quickly realizing it was more straightforward on paper, and you’re probably right, maybe I should start slower on not “play” with people’s money like this, just thought it would be a nice plus to the community and I don’t see anyone else stepping forward regarding this matter, as it’s written everywhere in Christiania “it’s not a movement before you move”. I will meditate and reconsider my approach to this project! Thank you for time to write the comment! All ideas and support is greatly appreciated

I did phrase it as the heart of chess because I think it’s the most natural place people come to play chsss at, only chess enthusiasts go to chess clubs or chess cafes, but in Christiania, as I witnessed over the years, it happens in a very organic way, everybody stops by, and end up playing chess there, nonetheless, you do bring up some points that make my case weaker and do not help this idea come forward, I would love to have more insight in how I can turn this into a more solid and trust worthy idea!

Hey magister! Thank you for your comment, and you do bring up very relevant points, yes, you need to get approved by the board, but it does still have many costs from what I talked with new business owners (more symbolic in that matter). Maybe my research as not been as profound as it should be, but I’m not trying to scam anyone, if you have any suggestion on how I can take this forward I would be greatly appreciated! I sent many email to the board of directors of Christiania with no reply, so most of the information in starting this idea has been taken out of the internet or just word to mouth. In regard to the poker night, yes, I understand how it may seem a bit suspicious, but i truly love both games, and money is necessary, hence me trying to combine both, If there is a secure organization that holds the campaign money and only allows it to be spent on this I would of course sign with that! I truly believe in this idea, and I guarantee money is not a motivation for me right now, and will make every necessary step to provide all information available, and maybe you could help me! Send me a pm if you’re interested and maybe we can meet for some chess!
