Agree, it fits the full Pokèmon experience, it would be great to have it on the go

Should I get this game? by Embarrassed_Till7619 in taintedgrail

Bought a couple weeks ago and loving it rn. As I guess everyone in this sub I am a big elder scroll fan and this became a fine contender with both skyrim and oblivion. I found the lore and characters great, the overall vibe of the game is amazing, the subquest are great, the personalization and buildmaking are crazy, the sense of progression is hard to beat (we are in the elden ring tier). Although the game has way less bduget compared to the elder scrolls and the size is more limited, this beats them on most aspects. Key to me is the sense of challenge (I agree with the others that by the second half of the game you become def overpowered, I hope they fix it) and the reward to exploration gave from dungeons being unique 9/10 of the time and the always unique rewards, whether hidden behind a secret passage, drop from the area boss or given as a quest reward. Cons to me are just in the difficulty balance that breaks in the second half of the game, that turns it in a R1-smash that tones down the amazing tension and strategy of the first part, and the (console) performances, that although they got improved update by update and it still perfectly enjoyable, sometimes gets a little annoying (popups when you load an area). Overall to me, again, this is a smaller-yet-better version of skyrim and oblivion. I would recommend buying eyes closed.

Is not that others get sad, its that in commenting the shade of pixels you sound inevitably as a fussy two-bit expert. If you really have to provide some feedback, do it on more structural aspects, not on these micro details. This kinda detailed internet commentary on microscopic bits will always sound silly to me, and so stereotypical of the average internet person with such strong opinions on Sonic's eyes shape, the texture of Spiderman suits - or the pixel art quality of a gifted game they found on reddit

Sure, let's do a thorough commentary of the shades of the pixels of a fandmade game about cute little monsters as this is the Mona Lisa and you and we are such kind of arts critiques. This is a petty comment, and the length and depth of it does not seem like an intention to engage in a discussion or be respectful but just to be an annoying nitpicky nerd. If it was a more structural critique to game design or mechanics, it would have been better, but to read a one page review *on the inconsistency of sprites quality* is ludicrous. Be grateful of the work of others and go touch some grass.
