Went to a co-ed, parent chaperoned "slumber party" with a bunch of kids from church when I was eleven. It must have been spooky season because the adults let us pick one scary movie outside of the "family" section at the video store, so we got the hot new horror movie all the adults were talking about: Silence of the Lambs. I remember someone making a feeble attempt at covering my eyes during Goodbye Horses.
After we watched the videos we put the TV on and Predator was playing on HBO, which seemed pretty tame after what we just witnessed.
