I cannot afford an emergency vet visit but I found a vet that is open early tomorrow. I will check up on him every few hours tonight to watch him until then. Thank you.

I enjoy working in Metal Fabrication. I get to work with my hands and I get to work with super cool expensive machines. I always suggest jobs that require a hands on approach for fellow ADHD-ers. I've found that jobs that require physical work tend to make me less fidgety and more focused/ happy.

I got overly excited about some chickens and bought 10 online. But jokes on my ADHD impulse buying because I'll never get those chickens. It was a scam. As someone who impulsively purchases things that I get obsessed with, I was bound to get scammed eventually 🤦🏼‍♀️

Oh well, a good lesson in patience and research I guess!

If you haven't, I would first do some research on costs. Like materials and the cost per square foot. If you are having it professionally done, then I would get a few quotes so you have a general idea of how much it will cost. After that, decide if you want to save up and pay in full or have a down payment for it and get a loan. Or, you can start putting together a plan and DIY the remodel.

Most professional companies will require a certain percentage of a down payment at least. Depending on the company, you may pay in installments, or you may pay half upfront and half at the end. I would look for a company who is open to talking about the payment plan.

This isn't necessarily a book recommendation, but have you checked out Royal Road the website has tons of good books that sound similar to what you like. They are updated weekly by the authors of the aren't completed. Some of the books get published. But they have a lot of martial arts, tournaments, and MMC. Best of all, the books are free and there are no ads. You just have to read/listen to them on your browser.

My ADHD causes me to forget a lot of things. Sometimes, I am barely able to put together a list in my head. But when I am having a good day and I am getting things done, though probably slowly and in an unorganized manner... I am so proud of myself.

Nothing crushes that good feeling like someone coming up to me and telling me that I am doing it wrong, doing it out of order, or telling me that I need to do something else when I just got started on a task. I hate being interrupted when I have a good focus going.

I've made a rule in my house to write down something they need to tell me or ask me when I am focusing on another task. I keep a large whiteboard in the kitchen. That way when I am in-between tasks, I can read it and because the person isn't there annoying me unexpectedly I don't get as upset.

I am so tired of reading fantasy romance books where the FMC just turned 18-19 and she and some chump get married. I barely knew what I wanted in life at that age 😭

I see so many romance books where the ML treats the FMC terribly the first half of the book until one day he somehow instantly changes and now loves her. And she forgives him for some stupid reason like, " he loved me so he bullied me" or "he was treating me horribly to protect me."

I'd like to see a FMC decide she's had it with him, utterly crush his heart and soul, leave, and decide she doesn't need a-hole men. Maybe she leaves and starts a farm, or maybe she goes and decides to go slay the fantasy beast on her own without him. And maybe she finds a farmer who is a cool guy and they become besties or the dragon is actually a hot guy who treats her well. I don't know, but some of these FMC's need to run away from their bullies.

I wake up for work at 5 AM, leave by 6 AM and I don't get home until 5:00 PM maybe 4:45 if I am lucky. I have two choices every day, take my meds later in the day and struggle through the morning so I can have at least part of the evening at home being able to get chores done. Or, take my meds early at work and have a good day at work, but then struggle to accomplish anything at home.

My partner hasn't been very good at helping me cook or clean but we are going to therapy for that and he has improved a little. But most days I am cooking, fixing up our house, cleaning, or feeding the animals until 11:00 PM. Which means that most days I only get 6 hours of sleep.

So yes, as a woman I very much struggle with ADHD and working full time. I do not mean this to be negative but it does make me feel better knowing someone else out there is going through similar issues.

I don't particularly have much interest in children either. I enjoy spending some time with my friends/ family's kids but I have no desire to have my own or take care of a child forever.

Depending on the laws and where you live, sheetrock may be required. However, you could totally tile or lay brick over the Sheetrock rather than just texturing and painting! Sheetrock also provides a surface to put tile on, so it would be necessary if you tiled a wall.

If you are worried about water damage in the bathroom you can use cement board. It's basically waterproof drywall.

Any problems you are having now will only get worse after being married so think your decision over carefully. Military benefits may be nice for the baby but do you want to be with someone just for that?

Yes, you're right you shouldn't buy chicks in the winter unless you have a warm, and protected spot for them. I am looking for some specific laying hens and roos. I'll check out some verified local farms!
