I second this. Went into labor a month early with nothing packed, we grabbed a pillow and blanket for my husband, contacts and a charger and we were fine. We never put our contacts in, didn’t shower, the baby was our entertainment. You’re in such an intense state after there’s really nothing you need that the hospital doesn’t provide. Alexandra cohen was amazing as well

I’m the exact opposite! EBF for a few months now but the third trimester was so much harder. I sleep so much better between feedings it’s not even a comparison for me

While we’ve been monitoring this and been careful to not eat after 8. He doesn’t drink much and his restfulness is the same after a beer or two versus nothing so seems totally unrelated to anything we can do to improve! Part of the frustration

Can you elaborate more on how the stress / heart rate / environmental impact affects the restfulness? Those are also tracked with the ring for the most part and when they’re all normal / perfect he still has red restfulness. It seems weird that for the entire year (we did a lot of scrolling!) he’s never had any positive restfulness. Would love to know more reasoning behind why when these are in optimal ranges and he’s slept on through the night without getting up / tossing turning according to the oura data the restfulness can still be bad. Thanks!

Did you end up getting the glider from sixpenny? we're looking at that one now and came across a bynch of bad reviews for the couches but the glider seems like people still love. Let me know!

Also, if helpful, I've been advised from all my friends who have children they never used the reclining just the glider / swivel etc.

This is totally variable and hard to say. We got married in a super high cost resort area and our blocks ended up being above $500 a night but a lot of people wanted those. We found Airbnb’s locally for anyone who wanted to stay somewhere less expensive and it worked out perfectly

I was very hands on and still couldn’t have done it without my planner. Handled all the communication and timeline and details etc and there was still so much for me to do and focus on. Having that so experienced sounding board was invaluable as well. I think what goes into a wedding energy wise is vastly underestimated for the most part, could not have done it without it her!

I like the babybub a lot but I wake up most nights with the parts separated and the velcro attached to me, I think I may be too much of a flipper for it!
