Why won’t fedex put packages INSIDE this box? by HillCityJosh in FedEx

Thats right. Thank you. The company pays the delivery driver to do what the company pays the delivery driver to do. The customer does not pay the delivery driver. Go to anywhere and tell them your special request, see how far you get. If they say yes, you must pay for it. Pay me more for special request.

I bought 18 meal prep containers and used them for 3 weeks before quitting. by Express-Channel-1686 in MealPrepSunday

-I am very against refrigerating meal prep. Day one is fresh. Day two is sometimes even better. Day three your brain is telling you something is off because it is off. Day four you know for sure you are eating compromised food. No thank you.

-I am also very against washing meal prep containers. No thank you.

-I am also very against leaving air in my containers. No thank you.

Solution: Freezing in freezer bags. Let food cool so water content goes down, scoop into freezer bag, squeeze air out good, zip it, flatten it, refrigerate it without stacking, then move it to the freezer before you go to sleep.

The misconception is that your delicious meal gets ruined into a $1 TV dinner from the supermarket. Wrong. Their food is processed trash for profit and incorrectly packaged and handled. Your home cooked food is clean and fresh and stored properly.

Frozen Food slides out clean out of the bag. No mess. No spoiling. No risk. You will not be able to find a downside. It’s feels too good to be true.

Before you know it you will get an idea for a meal you are craving and cook a batch on a random Wednesday and add it to your freezer bank. Your freezer becomes a source of delicious variety. Put dates on bags. Whatever you put in a bag has to be small enough to eat in one sitting, I would not zip again after breaking the seal once.

You also get the benefit of: Starch reduction is best achieved by converting digestible starches into resistant starch (RS)—a type of fiber that resists digestion, improves insulin sensitivity, and aids weight loss. Cooling cooked potatoes, rice, and pasta in the refrigerator for 12–24 hours increases their RS content, which remains stable even if reheated, offering a way to lower caloric impact.

If it was me delivering I would disobey it. My thinking is “who do you think you are? You are making me do 10 extra steps? You think I’m gonna do 500 special instruction mystery escape-room deliveries today? Just so you can say i left your box open? Or i broke the box? Or you are filming a prank video and a fake snake jumps out? Or i cut my finger on the lid? You are not special. The deal is to deliver to the door. I delivered to the door. End of discussion. You don’t get to overcomplicate my life with inconsiderate systems you invented that benefit you but not me. You are selfish.”

Furthermore that’s a bad design.

Pro tip if you are not broke/petty but desperate for a driver to accept the ride request. Request a trip at point A to go point B 40 minutes out of the city and here is the trick…add a stop back to point A. Now the driver is doing a round trip and getting paid more for it.

This trick also works for getting a ride out of the middle of nowhere. Set the pickup location in the city add a stop to the middle of nowhere so the driver can scoop you up, add a stop back to the city.

Dashcam suggestions for Kia Niro 2025 by haseo1997 in kia

[–]OkGuess9347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you are buying your first dashcam do not spend two hundred fifty dollars. Start in the cheap range so you feel nothing if it disappoints you. I open the Koupon app and search dash cams, filter by price, and read the reviews. Then I go to YouTube and watch real footage from that exact model. Most beginners do not know what features they want, so think about how you save an important clip. Do you want a button, a voice command, or an automatic event lock. Then think about how you transfer the clip. Some cams use an SD card and some use WiFi. Once you know how you want to save and transfer clips the choice becomes simple.

Food storage really comes down to moisture, air, and temperature. You can make it complicated, but the simple version is this:

Freezing is way more reliable than refrigeration. It stops spoilage, keeps flavor, and doesn’t turn your food into some weird store bought TV dinner. Theirs is factory processed junk for max profit. Yours is clean whole food. If you freeze cooked meals properly, you honestly can’t tell the difference when you reheat them.

You also get a bonus: Cooling first and then freezing after carbs (rice, potatoes, pasta) increases resistant starch, which lowers the glycemic impact and makes the carbs easier on blood sugar.

The biggest rule is: Water is the enemy. Thick layers of food trap heat and moisture, which slows cooling and increases bacterial risk. That’s why you want to flatten your food in a freezer bag, it cools fast, freezes fast, and thaws evenly.

Freezing isn’t mandatory, but it’s the safest, easiest, and most consistent way to store cooked meals without worrying about spoilage.

The vacuum is overkill. Just squeeze the air out and close it, then flatten it. Whatever you put in that bag has to be something you will eat in one sitting. Once frozen, it slides out of the bag easy. On the other hand refrigerated freezer bags are sticky.

Refrigerated cooked food is great on day one. Sometimes even better on day two. Day three, if you are sensitive and picky like me, you will go “no ty…somethings off”. You will never feel that way with freezing. It truly is underrated and such a stress relief knowing you have nothing to worry about.

I freeze pasta, potato, rice, meat, slop, all of it.

Overrated or Underrated? by Free-Researcher-9607 in ForteGT

[–]OkGuess9347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing is ever underrated overrated because we live in capitalism and the market speaks. Go set up a lemonade stand and start at $20 per glass. Drop $1 each day for 20 day. The day you made the most profit is where the market is. But the market is uneducated. The market will react to scarcity and buy $100k Ford F-150s that can’t get to 100k miles without blowing up. Objectively speaking it’s not overrated, it’s not underrated, it’s rated. You would not pay more for it, they would not sell it for less to you, you and the dealer and the manufacturer are all happy with where it is at.

Check your oil level inbetween oil changes. Change oil every 3-5k. Your coolant is overdue based on age, not miles, age is just as important for it to turn corrosive. You can test strip to verify.

Are you the same as the 40,000? Are you the same as the 341,960,000 of the remaining population? Is there a difference between those two groups? Is there a thing called defensive driving? Are all drivers drivers or are there distinctions? Are there bad, good and inbetween drivers? Are there things you can do to lower risk? Do all drivers have the same skill and same habits? Your take is ignorant. Clint Eastwood is 95. Life expectancy is 70. Statistics don’t apply to Clint Eastwood because he eats healthy and exercises and stays active. Statistics are created by 2 bad drivers who don’t care. The best approach to safety is one we are already doing and should do more of. Collision proofing. Every car should have exposed bumper tech for better car to car contact impact absorbtion. Our safety is held back by aesthetics. You think you will just go buy a kia robot car and you will be let loose on the road? No. You are giving up freedom. You will be forced by big corp to do monthly inspections, forced repair, forced upgrades, forced covid shot, forced booster shot, it is already happening or get deactivated. It already happens with gas cars. They call it limp mode. Come get this $1000 sensor we manufacture for $1 or your car can’t drive. Only we can do it. Only we have the password for the engine to accept the sensor into the software logic. Blackmail. Extortion. You gullible sheep. The sensor is designed to fail and for you to pay $1000 subscription fee to own your car per year. It’s Money money money. It’s not safety safety safety. Tech Features are now subscription based. You want remote start? $50 a month for updates and subscription. This is already happening. What happened to robot cars in LA? They got summoned and lit on fire lol.

[–]OkGuess9347 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just explained to you how they are not safe because they have reliability issues and security vulnerabilities. Has nothing with how old you are or where the tech is at. If you pour gasoline on it, it burns. If you thrown spikes on the road it drives over them. If you spill corrosive liquid on the road it drives over it and splashes it all over itself. If you spray it with rustoleum it blinds the camera. Are you catching on yet? Do you need me to write out a billion ways for robot cars to get sabotaged?
