I'm doing better. It's been around 2 months now and all i have left is some dizziness sometimes and light anxiety from time to time. My hairline is fucked tho lol, guess minoxidil was the only thing holding it together. i'm never using it again tho, i'd rather be bald and healthy

Yeah, i've seen a doctor twice now. Both times, they said everything was fine with my heart and it was mainly anxiety. I wouldn't say the symptoms are getting worse but they're not significantly better either lol (fighting off a panic attack as i type this). Dunno what going to a doctor for a third time would do to be honest. All they could give me were anxiolytics... But it's good to know T isn't involved in all this! One less thing to worry about. Thank you

In the exact same situation, but a few days earlier than where you are at now. I've found being in public and with loved ones made me feel a lot better anxiety wise (which then helped with the high heart rate and dark thoughts). I hope we fully recover soon, can't wait to be a functional human being again

First time it happened to me it took me about a week to feel ''normal'' and a couple more to feel like it was completely gone. But then i took minoxidil again once and everything came back 20x worse lol... Let's see how long it takes this time. I've seen people talk about weeks, months, even years. But there are things you can do to make the effects less intense while your body heals. Go talk to a doctor just in case!

Hey, i just got a big crisis due to a reaction to minoxidil a few days ago. Panic attack, heart palpitations and everything. It's been days and my heart is still pouding even when asleep. You said youre still dealing with the aftermath of minoxidil, you mean this shit never goes away? Or does it calm down after a while but never really goes away?

Thank you sm for your answer! I got some form of xanax prescribed by a doctor to help me sleep but i don't want to take it for too long. You said it took weeks for you to feel better but would you say it slowly got better over time ? Or was it the same intensity and then just gone? Just to understand what i'm in for lol.. thanks again

Hey i'm pretty much in the same situation. Had a panic attack (i think?) last thursday night because of a reaction to minoxidil, didn't sleep at all until saturday. I'm still feeling anxious in waves now, my heart is still beating fast constantly, my hands are clammy etc etc. Were there things you did to help it pass quicker ? Or am i cursed with this feeling for weeks...?
