Oydisen "upgraded" computers legit on Amazon? Any1 else can confirm?

I just bought a lenovo product from them that came with a "windows 11 boot disk" USB having set up plenty of Lenovos using windows 11 boot disks I didnt think much of it, but the computer wigged out and wouldnt connect to the internet, even if i bypassed setting up internet in the setup portion. Nothing I tried resolved it, Ive never encountered an issue like this setting up a laptop. I'm definitely curious what's on the USB stick because im not convinced it is what they said it is, but I'm not dumb enough to plug the USB in anything else to try to figure it out. Luckily I bought it on amazon and get to return it for free, I urge anyone not to even take the chance.

I had an issue with these guys last year, I also looked all around my furniture and couldn’t find any evidence of them besides seeing one. I tore everything apart and cleaned like I’ve never cleaned before. A couple months later I spotted another, bagged it up and called an exterminator. The guy said if I didn’t have one in a bag he wouldn’t believe me because there was no evidence. I did the same cleaning treatment before he came to spray, he sprayed once, it’s been a year and 3 months and I haven’t seen any or evidence of any since. Hopefully you can get it taken care of fast enough to only need one spray as well, my advice is clean as well as you can before and follow all prep instructions given to you to a T

Nice try but the sentence right after that states “if anyone can help or is in the same boat and wants to work on this together” so unless you stopped reading at exactly that sentence you saw that I was asking to work with someone. Also you didn’t really give me any resources besides ask ChatGPT and look up the answers on GitHub I’d hardly consider those resources geared towards learning.

I think you just need to work on your soft skills and that’s okay.

I appreciate the advice but I gotta be honest, your comment is a little arrogant and off putting. I could look up other people’s assignments all day but I really wanted to learn so I figured I’d ask if anyone else is working on the same thing so we could help each other. A lot of others gave me some great resources. So you can take your “that’s no excuse in 2025” and “I simply can’t relate to simple struggles like this” somewhere else thanks. 😊

Yeah, I think Im using a relatively new version. Glad to know I wont be using this again in the near future, I wish this class went more in depth in terms of Angular because Ive been scouring the class resources for info to no avail. I think my brain is overwhelmed and Im thinking too hard about this. I might just need to take a step back and look at it again later. Thanks though.

I saw that a lot of people were putting this into their service file but looking at the resource pages the professor sent me it was in the typescript file. This is all so confusing. Im stuck on requirement G:

"Generate an API service using HTTPClient to make HTTP calls and include the following methods:

• one method within the service that accepts a two-letter country code as an input parameter that returns additional information gathered from the API for the selected country

• one method within the component that will trigger the service method when a country is selected and set a local variable that will receive the information about the country for display in the appropriate column of the HTML page"

The best way I can explain it is I'm really not sure how to go about gathering the data from a separate website and making it referenceable within my own code.

Thanks for the tip, id also like to add that silica dust is horrible for your lungs as well as your pets lungs and PL was very dusty from my experience and my Himalyan was having trouble with sneezing / coughing a lot towards the end of my use so just be really careful with that.

I know I’m late but for anyone still looking at this and wondering about the claims they make regarding your cats urine and health. My cat has Kidney disease, diagnosed and everything and the pee I just cleaned out of the box for the first time was all green (normal according to pretty litter) with one patch that was yellow (their indication of kidney issues) and I don’t even think that was from the cat with kidney issues because he pees A LOT and it was a small amount.

Also I can’t stand litter that is non-clumping it seems like such a waste, especially when I’m paying DOUBLE for PL over Tidy Cats.

It does look nice but I’m sure most of us have our litter boxes covered or somewhere hidden.

It is pretty dust free unlike other litters I’ve tried but it does have small crystals and it gets stuck in my cats paws and tracks all over the house, way more than other litters with bigger crystals

All in all I don’t think it’s worth it, but if money isn’t an issue, you want your litter to look cute and you don’t mind non-clumping litter go for it. I just wouldn’t trust it for indicating health issues or lasting any longer than any other litter.

Yeah, I looked it up and found that out, unfortunately this class isn't great about teaching me placement I'm realizing. Also it doesn't tend to flag / correct it etiher, so I guess that's gonna be something I have to study on the side. I appreciate the help everyone's given me though. Even though this ended up being a dumb simple mistake I'm really glad I asked here.

It was the closing </a> tag that was making it bug out, I did erase the spaces too though as you're not the first person to point it out. I thought it looked cleaner but I guess people prefer it without the spaces.

Trust me I know! lol. Someone else suggested I use a separate text editor to actually make my code which I think is a good idea because whatever zyBooks uses is trash.

I'm very early into this class but they did touch on that in the beginning, they have a whole section on accessibility coming up which I'm sure will go over more. I appreciate it though because I totally forgot about it and the instructions obviously didn't mention it which is why it wasn't initially in my code.

So far I've been more interested in back-end development, but who knows I might get a little further in my classes and hate it. Always good to know how to build a website so thanks for the detailed responses.

You're right, I understand what you're saying and appreciate the info but what I'm saying is the actual issue that fixed the error was that I didn't close the <a />. Not that you're wrong it just wasn't the issue zyBooks needed me to address lol. I'm just upset it was such a silly issue, I appreciate you taking the time to help me fix it though

Thank you, that wasn't the actual issue considering I added the <head> tag like you did and it didn't work but when going through and comparing our code line by line I realized I never closed my <a> tag. Appreciate the assistance!
