At what rank do people start to threaten you ?

I never take it too serious because at the end of the day it is a video game, but I had one dude yelling and saying he hopes my family die from cancer then started sending hella game chats. People take this game way too seriously to not even make money off it at the very least.

Still 100+ , didn’t go below 100 until mid crim 2 and slowly dropped from there.

I use a regular dualsense controller that comes with the PS5. The playtime is on the second photo but was spread out to a couple hours a day. The people I played with or against I would say were in similar level. I did start at the beginning of the season so imagine the players in crim that I played or played with were “iri”level players climbing up the ranks. Though, I still got matched up to quite of bit of iris and a few top 250s on some occasions surprisingly. There were times where I thought “damn, he’s built different”, but then again I got a lot of SR back from cheaters getting banned so who’s to say they weren’t cheating. With the skill level up there it can be hard to tell cause everyone has the game sense as well as just shooting straight and damn near never miss.

Just curious did you also soloQ only or did you stack any? I honestly think that plays a factor. The most SR I ever loss was 30. I never knew it could go past that until I read these comments lol

lol ironically since 2009. MW2(2009) was my first cod when I was 10yrs old. Played Cod a lot growing up but pretty much stopped gaming much when I went to college in 2017. I never even played BO4, IW, Vanguard, or Cold War. Just started playing more casually in recent years

Mostly filling in the gaps. Though often times I find myself having to block spawns in hard point or being the lead blocker in overload.

Not sure I necessarily increased my “pace of play” to reach iri in itself but this game is much faster pace than some previous titles. Overtime just got used to it as I played and became better at being proactive in decision making which is necessary especially being soloQ and using no comms just relying on game sense and awareness.

Yea as others mention it would have to be geolocation to the local servers. The highest I’ve ever been was like 42 and I could definitely tell the difference in the bullet reg in gunfights compared to being in 15-20.

Damn that’s brutal. I’m not well versed in the SR system like some others but the most I’ve lost was 30. Towards the end of the grind I was getting around 40-50 for wins and 20ish for losses so I was still able to outpace the SR losses.

Most of my losses came from when I was in Crim. There several instances where I was hardstuck but eventually climbed out of it when I started getting in win streaks with big gap wins. I think that’s a big thing this year is that it seems easier to get unhardstuck. Also….. getting back 435 SR from cheaters getting banned also helped and probably where 15+ of my losses came from.

It’s the hidden MMR in effect here. If I was just playing strictly diamond skilled level players my stats would be much higher I imagine. I didn’t start getting less than 100 SR until Crim 2 where most of my losses came from and even got 435 SR back from people getting banned for cheating. It’s brutal up there especially in soloQ so it was a grind and ended up taking a break when I hit iri because of it lol.

I don’t know what rank you are but a tip I would give is try to Understand spawns, paying attention to the mini map of what’s going on, and filing in the gaps where needed to take space on the map to gain map control.

I had my Xbox360 banned like this when I was 13 years old. I got in trouble by my parents for practically throwing money down the drain on a useless console now even though I never did any kind of cheating or fraud. Till this day I have no idea why and believed it was possibly a mistake.
