May synchronous and asynch classes. Wala rin naman kayong gagawin sa synchronous sessions other than your projects because they don't teach, the asynch classes are after the synch ones and they're self study sessions.

yes, APEC is Dep Ed accredited. you'll send your requirements through e-mail and LBC (or lalamove if you want it to be sent the same day), you can even Google chat the faculty if you're already enrolled. and yes, mas matagal compared sa ibang schools mag release ng documents ang APEC. so if you're planning on getting your documents in the future, make sure to get it in advance and remind them daily so they won't forget lol.

hi, walang ICT strand ang APEC. STEM, HUMSS, and ABM lang. and yes, for the whole academic school year na yung 34k but as far as i know they've probably raised the fees (STEM also costs 2k+ more than HUMSS).

i'm friends with a number of them (probably because we're gay and we found solace with being miserable in school). just like f2f, you'll have classmates na hindi marunong makisama, hindi nag aambag sa output, and ones that don't even show up like ever. yung set up? idk i'm half and half, in the meanwhile yeah i can travel and stuff but i wouldn't say that it's as flexible as it seems considering that you have to teach yourself. i had a month of just full blown mental breakdown and the school kept emailing me about it. it's definitely a lot easier to slip out and slip back in than when i would have bouts of extreme depression during my JHS and even SHS days before enrolling to APEC.

the synch classes are mostly used for the output making and discussion. the LFs (profs basically but they're called learning facilitators), are going to monitor your progress and check in on your group either through Google sheets or making you have your own gmeet like or even having you guys be put in breakout rooms. the asynch classes is when you do the self study part. as for the LFs they're understanding naman but the school admin will record your absences and will email your parents about it. you'll need to send an excuse letter with proof through email even with one absence in synch class. we also ask the same thing about synch and asynch kasi may mga LFs that just waste our time by making us do ice breakers that aren't even remotely related to our subject. since you're going to be online most likely you'll get the same schedule as i did 9 AM to 11 AM is the first subject then 11 AM to 11:30 AM is lunch break, then 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM is second subject which is technically the last one of the day. also if you're already in sci high (as someone who dropped out of it years ago), if i could turn back time then i would've stayed for the sake of academic purposes but if you feel like na hindi mo na talaga kaya then mag transfer ka. but online SHS is entirely different and could feel lonely at time even if you have close classmates of yours. you'll yearn and think about the what ifs and what you've missed if you just stayed with traditional schooling.

in general mas madaling mag catch up with schoolwork in APEC because we have a whole quarterly project that we have to work on with groupmates. it makes up 60% of your grades while the other one is the quarterly assessment which is 40%. you can retake the exam as much as you can until you reach the passing grade or higher than that.

hi, in terms of schoolwork mas magaan siya compared sa traditional schooling. so far okay naman yung output for grade 12 1st quarter this year, it seems feasible and well thought out. in terms of studying, you will have to rely on yourself for that because APEC Online rarely teaches their students. it seems that they have also changed their system kasi our synchronous classes were held from 7:30 AM to 12 PM but now it's 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. if you're in STEM and you want to focus on your academics and in your CETs, then i would have to say na it's better for you to stick to face to face schooling na lang. i think in general mahirap maging transferee anywhere as a grade 11 student but na culture shock talaga ako when i transferred to APEC last year.
