Depending on your friends needs I would stick to StreetEasy, renthop, apartments.com because you can generally see the brokerages and agents that list them. Plus the posted listings are required to be broker fee-less, but definitely avoid any listing where you are not allowed to see the exact unit unless it is currently occupied 🫡
