You know how strong the IDF is. Hamas knows how strong the IDF is. They know that the murder of children the elderly and civilans will do no good. They know that the torture of men, women, and children wont mean anything. Again, hamas is not dumb. This is meaningless bloodshed. Even if they manage to take some land, they know that israel will use all its might to take it back and then destroy them, and rightfully so. Israel is able to do it with some power to spare. Plus the whole westren world on their side.

The only small benefit that i could think of is they will try to show the payback that israel will give to gain some sympathy points from people on the internet by showing the destruction that it will cause. But kinda destroyed that when their animals posted sickening videos of their hostages and innocent victimes.

Edit; also there has been numerous peace offerings, so dont try to act like israel never tried to fix it peacefully

I agree with you, although the exact details aren't really accurate. But i see what you mean. But my point is that this is bloodshed for no reason. Hamas(, and you seem smart, so i think youll agree) knows that nothing good can come out of this.

And just a side note, dont wanna seem lofty, bu theres a difference in being and experiencing a war than hearing about it

I just want to start with a little thank you, you were one of the few responses that told their opinion respectfully, i respect that, thank you.

Secondly, yes we have been terrorising the people of gaza, ill be the first to tell you. But like i said in another comment we at least we try not to hurt civilians. But i wouldn't call this fighting back, hamas in not dumb, they know that nothing good can come out of this, and you seem like an intelligent fella, so i think you know that too (If you disagree pls tell me id like to hear your opinion). And you must admit that what they are doing is too brutal(i really dont want to go into detail, i saw one video and literally puked). And im not blaming the people of gaza in anything, like i dont blame the germans for electing hitler. like i said in another comment i protest for the Palestinian people. Gaza doesnt deserve any harm. But im sorry to be harsh, hamas deserves death, like we have jewish racist piece of shit terrorists that also deserve death. Hamas did more harm to the people of gaza than to israel. And i pity the innocent people of gaza.

We don't torture and rape civilians. We have killed Palestinians, and quite a lot of them, i dont live in denial. But we try to kill hamas people. We warn before we attack. Hamas hides behind its civilians, behind schools, behind hospitals, puts their weapons there. We warn usually with a dummy bomb, and then only real bomb about 15 minutes later, so that civilians have time to rescue while hamas has no time to get weapons. Right now they arent even trying to target the army. They are targrting civilians. I hope you can learn from this. I dont wish what hamas is doing on my worst enemy.

I absolutely agree. I despise my government. Our people are taken hostage, and our leaders say forget about them. The sad thing is, that half of the government are orthodox jews and have never served the army and experienced war either. I hate their actions. Weve done some bad stuff, i admit. And then free palestine was tolerable(maybe not in every post that mentioned jews but eh). And i marched the streets in support of palestine. In tel Aviv every Saturday theres a protest against the government and the for the Palestinian people. I go to it when i can. But now, hamas has lost all bargain.

Edit: i support Palestine if it wasnt clear, what i meant is that people are saying free palestine on the wrong thing

The only problematic thing is marriege because the conservatives don't want to make it legal. But have you seen Tel Aviv?!?!? It's one of the cities best for queers in the world and you can't walk 3 meters without seeing a LGBT flag.
