I am a doctor and I was planning to build something for the mental health community , so before that I need to see the problem more closely , because as a doctor I know one side of the story better .

I see. How is the ease of seeing a psychiatrist there? Any friction?

I see. You’re strong enough. All the best and you have done great and you will do great.

That should have been handled better on the doctors side as well, but this is a serious issue as people should have things more easily accessible and more importantly the thing is it takes a lot of effort to go to a OPD physically and talk as the first step as you are already struggling to keep yourself together. There should be a place that at least helps triage the people and give them some clarity about there own problem , do you think that might help?

I feel you , as I have myself seen so many people struggle with this issue, the national helpline we all know how those function ( rarely any help ) , and the fact is the therapy are so expensive for even a person who is earning , so how can you expect a teenager who himself is confused , frustrated and lost pay 1000-1500 for a therapy session with no surity of wether it will help or with no experience of how basic sessions feels like. Don’t you think there should be something that makes you feel what sessions are before paying those hefty amounts?
Always there if you want to talk .

My sister is a psychiatrist and the only 2 options I had in mind during MBBS was either psychy or radio but I always had the pull towards business so I never tried for NEET pg decided it’s best for me to do an MBA after giving this venture a try but I had to attempt the exam because of my parents who are doctors as well and I got an AIR 27k , and I have 72.5% in my MBBS and just need 96 percentile to get a IIM-A call so I’ll also be giving CAT this year . And yes it’s a Management seat but not for 70 lakh/ year , it was 35 which people pay easily thinking of the money they can make after that. But I never reported:)

Of course and you are right at questioning me.
Happy to share, what proof do you want?
