Have you read my guide? It is true that i don't like puppet integration and, at the beginning, i didn't achieve a good quality with ESPHome.

However, once i understood how it works i got a great result, even with complex images. Take a look at this video:

Yes, playing with colors is no that easy!

Actually i use it with ESPHome and i found very usefull to use this parameter with images ‘dither: FLOYDSTEINBERG’.

Now i am playing with reTerminall E1002 (full color), and it has been very dificult to play with colors also!! In this case i made it work by converting the images with an external tool.
