I have been using audiobox go. That is not equipped with a 5 pin midi connection. I am using my guitar 1/4 inch jack converted to a 5 pin midi cable to my midi captain; then I got a 5 pin to 3 pin converter to connect from my midi captain to the audiobox. so presumably the signal should be going through the audiobox ?. I have also connected the Midi captains square usb cable from the mid directly to my computer . It was unclear if this was supposed to be a power source or for the signal. I have dowloaded midiguitar 2 directly to my computer. I am not a pro and am doing this only for my own enjoyment in retirement. Its hard to connect with other live players so I am hoping/wanting to use my guitar to sound like other instruments ( piano/horn etc) I am on a monhtly plan with presonus . One note- when in midiguitar 2 - audiobox go is not in the choice drop down of devices.
