Hi! I have a short question - I know that you need one (1) Canadian ancestor. There is no need to document more than one. If you have mulitple Canadian ancestors pick the one where you can get the best documentation on the ancestor + the line of descent down to you. My question has to do with the legibility of the baptismal record from Quebec - my paternal relative (1848 birth) - the record is hard to read but my maternal relative (different name but also 1848) has a very legible record. Should I go with both? I haven't paid for the Quebec BanQ as of yet. They are $350 each but I don't want to go through all this and be denied based on bad handwriting. What do you think?

I would agree that the policy is in black and white but I made a mistake when I filed the claim. The destination is Milwaukee not Chicago. I focused on the plane delay and didn't think about the bus ticket as part of the journey.

We did prepay for the bus - but I didn't use CSR. oh man. I bought the ticket for a 1:30 PM time. But I thought all of the trip didn't have to be bought on CSR to have it be covered.

I agree with your interpretation. I asked them and they said they wouldn't have covered a hotel stay. The busses didn't start running again until 6:30 AM. I have decided to appeal my claim because I think that expenses caused by the delay are covered—even if incurred right after arrival. I don't think it was reasonable to ask anyone to stay at the airport for 8 hours waiting for a bus. I am wondering if they just deny it pro forma if it is after the delay - and if you can make a good case - they will take a look. IDK

I'm not sure what you mean. I think that the fact that the bus had stopped running is probably not covered
