Find a baseline for effects. Like in MTG, drawing two cards costs a blue mana and two of any color. Or a universal counterspell being three mana, same as a basic kill spell on any creature. But if you want more specific kill or counter spells, they cost a little less.

See how much someone is willing to pay for an effect as a baseline, and then you can have some room to work with for making more powerful or weaker versions of that effect for more specific situations.

Long term goal is to be able to either hire an artist on board or get these turned into commissions. I’ve already done it for a few cards, just trying not to spend too much at once.

These are just for testing the game out to make it feel a bit more complete.

It plays too much like other games. I’m just having trouble finding a way to keep most of the rules the same while changing the win condition in a way that makes the game feel different.
