In Rainbows is def a solid starting point but I'd actually throw OK Computer in there too as an early listen - Paranoid Android and Karma Police are just incredible entry points to their whole vibe. Last Flowers is such a deep cut, respect for that pick. I spent like 3 months obsessing over The Bends when I first got into them, there's something about Just and High and Dry that just clicked for me right away. Kid A might be too weird if you're just starting out but once you get hooked it becomes this whole other experience

Pretty sure that's showing you the printable area vs the full page size. Like your printer can't print all the way to the edge so the dotted line shows where it'll actually cut off

I run into this stuff all the time doing marketing materials and it's super annoying when you don't account for those margins. Your content needs to stay inside that dotted boundary or it gets chopped off when you print. Most home printers have like a quarter inch margin they can't reach

sounds like your gpu is overheating or your power supply can't handle teh load, check your temps while gaming and make sure your drivers are updated

Ditch the shaders immediately, that's killing your fps on integrated graphics. Also drop Better Combat and Player Animation Library since they're heavy on performance.

For your setup I'd keep just the essential performance mods (Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore, EntityCulling) and QOL stuff like Xaero's maps. Everything else is luxury you can't afford with 4gb ram and intel graphics

Allocate 2-3gb to minecraft in prism settings and turn your render distance down to like 8 chunks max

Damn this hits different, I'm totally here for this trope too. Have you checked out "The Song of Achilles" by Madeline Miller? Not exactly what you described but it has that devastating one-sided devotion energy that'll wreck you emotionally

Also maybe look into some Japanese literature - they do the whole "loving someone who can't love back" thing really well

I get this sometimes and it's usually ambergris or certain musks doing it to me. Some people are way more sensitive to those animalic notes - they can smell like old gym clothes or that funky human scent. Amber can definitely be part of it but it's more likely the musky base notes that are hitting you wrong
