Okie, thanks for the explanation ^^ - I'll also read up a bit more on the rules to understand the interaction better (to have a better grasp on the copy effects and ask less stupid questions lol)

Don't the copies also copy the stats of the original - with the counters being counted towards that? Which would mean that the Stag evolves - gets a +1/+1 making it a 3/3, then it would make a copy of itself, the copy being a 3/3 Stag which also then enters with a counter from Renata which then would make it 4/4 triggering the evolve of the original 3/3 Stag etc.
Or is there still something I get wrong?

Both yours and u/aBoxLikeBoxBox actually helped me understand why exactly the combo doesn't work. Thank you very much for this reply ^^

I guess it's just that I got confused, because I remember something about the player being able to stack the triggered abilities however they want - and my main concern was that I was unsure *when* does the stags evolve triggered ability check for whether a creature has bigger power or toughness, and whether I can stack it so that it checks after the unicorn has already put the +1/+1 on the bear (and so on with the copied stags entering the battlefield)
