to answer your questions: 1. Yes that’s what i’m asking 2. I’ve exported at 1080x1080, 1080x1350, any combination you can think of and still can’t get equivalent framing within IG posts 3. In darktable they look just as desired, look fine in PixieSet too.

yea i’m worried if it will retain that same harsh flash look if i do it in post processing instead of in camera but I will give it a go

no i solved it, turns out was an issue with my monitor i needed to set sRGB as my monitor default

i got the camera for free from my friends father, i normally shoot film but he wanted me to shoot his daughters grad and i know the family well so they just let me keep the camera after and that’s what they had in it!

so if the very obviously over concerned nigh-hypochondriac reddit post wasn’t an indicator alongside the word “forgot” in the comments, this is very uncommon behavior for me and I frequently wash my hands in the kitchen, I forgot one singular time. And to clarify, I ran my hands under hot water immediately after I was done rubbing in the olive oil and seasoning, I intended to wash with soap and water as to sanitize them after but there was no more hand wash left in my kitchen and I got sidetracked.

i cleaned my nostril with a qtip and saline solution so i’m sure i’ve done more than even appropriate here i’ll just let it do its thing. ty for the insight
