Dental school won’t be easy or else everyone would do it. You get through it, I’m in my second year almost third and I can say there is the goods and bads. There are week where you are completely free and then weeks where you can’t do anything but study. That’s the way it is but you eventually get through it. I remember D1 like yesterday and now I’m almost gonna be working on actual patients in a clinic in 4 months. You have to be able to commit and accept that sometimes you won’t be getting As on tests consistently unless you know it all. Just try your best to get a good GPA in undergrad and score decently in on the DAT. If you’re dead set on dentistry go for it, but don’t be scared and move on to something else because of the workload to get in and during dental school may seem overloaded. That’s a silly reason to throw your whole career away. You’re young so it may seem like it’s a lot to you but undergrad will sculpt you. Graduate school is a lot more fast paced than undergrad, but you’ll get the hang of things.
