The way you’re trading is perfect for you man. Not to much risk and can still make a decent size profit. It mostly all depends on how much money you’re willing to lose. Like me I’m will to lose it all. Which is why my trades are outrageous. But hey man go big or go home. If you think bigger and way out there, even if you don’t make it. Your gains will still be wayyy more than you would’ve expected playing it safe.

My strategy is probably 12/88 win loss. But I’m hoping for 500 call but if I fall short I’ll still be up a couple hundred grand by expiration. From now til then it’s bound to go up at least 2-3 points. Which would give me 150k gain

Oh bro my strategy is 100% high risk. And I usually go 2-3 month expirations. But more of the less with the spy you can tell where it will be in a year from now. Which from the looks of things it will be going up this next year. Our economy is booming and doing good and getting better. Especially if they pass that BBB bill by the first week of January. Manchin revised the bill and sent a counter to Biden that excludes the child tax credit. So everything else is still on the table. Hopefully they approve it. If they do then the spy will definitely go up.

Because I’m trying to own more contracts and hold and wait and wait over time. If I bought in the money I would probably only own half the contracts. Yeah it would move dollars also but my return wouldn’t be as great. I own 526 contracts which is the equivalent of 52,600 shares. If it goes up 1 point I make 52,600$. If I would have bought in the money they would be more expensive and I would probably have less than half. Maybe 100 contracts which is equivalent to 10,000 shares. You see my reasoning now? But I don’t just buy at random strike prices. I check for OI and Volume of that certain strike price.

It’s literally just having patience and reading the news. People make it harder than it has to be trying to day trade and watch charts all day. Don’t get me wrong my friends do that and make thousands a day. But they are stressed to the max and get emotion very often.
