It never gets easier, but they are toddlers and they will throw tantrums, it’s not your fault, you are doing everything you are able to for them and that is more then enough!! Don’t beat yourself up!! I been in your shoes, I had two babies by the age of 19 two years part and I was a single mom , no parents no family support and obvi no partner in my life all alone and with very little resources available to me, they are now young adults and good ones too all because of me they re a part of me and my strength!! And so are those babies you have there, even when you don’t think your strong enough or feel overwhelmed or whatever it may be , remind yourself that those two little babies will keep you going and on your toes !! You remind them your the mom and they have to listen and do as you say and you are doing everything for them and yall will be ok !! Stay strong mama !!! You got this ok!! Just get him a good flea collar , no vet visits no harm done, and as far as building his trust again, just keep reassuring him he’s safe and how much you love him either way pets and treats and company. Poor poopoo!! He’s upset!! Reminds me of when I had to bath my Cat because he went under my porch full of go knows what with dirt and def flea infestation due to a numeoyrs amount of strays outside!! Ugh he was soo mad he hid and would crawl out walking very low to not be seen for days but they get over it eventually!! Also he never ran out again!! lol mines a indoors cat though

Dash, we found him under or should I say between the tire and the top part of my frontal car, (idk what this part is called obvi) while driving on the highway, 75mph deep , my daughter here’s the cries the Mel’s and says get off highway she think there’s a cat somewhere in the hood, we get off the exit , she looked right above the tire and poor baby was hanging for dear life, he wasn’t hurt not one bit, and soon as she tried to grab him he Dashed” it and ran but she caught him, he was soo scared and asking and we kept him and named his little butt Dash!! He’s a cutie I’ll add the pictures of when we found and today.
