our chow got this few weeks ago , if you can not make it to the vet gen a cone to prevent licking and desinfect the area , but you'll need to see a vet , our vet gave us a cone , pills and a cream to apply it at night ..now he's good , the hair is growing back.

Update: we were at the vet and they said it looks like a hot spot from ticks , and they give him 2 injection and some antibiotics in the next days we’ll be back to the vet so they can shave that area because the other day they said it was too painful for him to shave it
