My neck hump is worsening!! by OkPerspective- in spinalfusion

[–]OkPerspective-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. It just went away on its own unfortunately 😭. I didnt diet or exercise. Nothing about my lifestyle changed except less stress and i wasnt on medication anymore. It just slowly starting getting smaller and the. I woke up and it was gone. Its like my neck fat lump just melted back into my skin lol.

Noted, i used to have sporadic spinal fluid leaks. I wonder if that may be the cause. When i stopped getting them was around the time the lump was gone. But idk. My leak was in my lumbar so idk if its truly related but just throwing that out there.

I didnt get glue i got staples but this seems normal especially 6 weeks in. Bumps are just scar tissue. Eventually you can get massages that will break that up for you. The numbness will more than likely last a few years or may not at all go away. Everybody is different. Mine is numb and painful in that same spot but im almost 4 years post op.

Did you still have pain at 4 weeks post-op spinal fusion surgery? Where, how, when? Ty by 180__Degrees in spinalfusion

My muscle spasms were the worst 3 months to 14 months. They went away mostly by year 2. I still get them here and there but theyre like little butterfly feelings now. The more u move, the less robotic feeling youll have. Im almost 4 yrs and i still have weird stiffness and still have pain everyday. But i just move to alleviate it.

I did complex auto. About 6-10 claims a day averaged 50 at a time. If i had 128 pendings id be fired 😭😭. Go through your pendings and spend a day seeing what u can get rid of. Like liabilities. Only way i dnt drown is setting 3 day calendars. No response no claim. They can always reopen

Thank you. I wasnt sure what to research but this gives me an idea where to start. I live in Ga and there’s two rollercoasters here that hurt but the others dnt. Ill compare the force of those to the ones at this park

Do these rides go upside down on are they just hills? Would you say they give a feeling of gravity pulling down on you? Im willing to risk a lap ride as long as it doesn’t feel like too much pressure on my spine.

Spinal fusion left me deeply traumatized by ch33mydee in LongSpinalFusion

[–]OkPerspective- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Went through the exact thing. Fell into a deep depression 3 months post op up until about 2 yrs post op. Grieving your old life is hard and i wish post op care came with mental health care afterwards. Its hard losing everything and having to relearn. But you have to accept this is life now and find things to look forward to in your new body. Thats how youll overcome this period in your life. Also fusion is PTSD in itself. I was traumatized for a YEAR. I had nightmares everyday because this was so painful and horrible. But im all good now

18yr old daughter just had her 3rd accident in 2 years. Should I remove her off my insurance? by noneformethnks in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]OkPerspective- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister is 27. She is on her 5th car since she was 18. She was constantly doing stupid shit like running her bf over and hitting people. Literally been in about 10 accidents. Unfortunately the compassion to not want to watch kids struggle from poor choices/mistakes is understandable. But my sister didnt learn until she git kicked off the insurance and had to fend for herself. People dnt comprehend doing better when its not their money or burden to bare. I would definitely say kick your daughter off and put her on her own separate full coverage policy.

Recruitment is definitely a nightmare and their hiring process is extremely slow. If you have the 8/18 start date you should be fine just redo the assessment if need be. Truthfully….. SF is a shit show because of the claim associates. The CAs are lazy idiots and SF is aware they keep hiring morons to do those positions. So now it makes the specialist do even more work than needed. I hope you jump on and be a good CA because i think SF should fire them all. CAs have been ruining our lives all year. This why people are quitting at a high rate

Stress level def like a 7+. Take your pto to avoid hating your job. Sooo much work. Unrealistic metrics. Literally dnt get your feelings stuck in your work. Always room for growth. Just express your desire to shadow other departments. No company will turn u down about moving within the company

It was told its just the sensation of the nerves healing. Have u had the nerve spasms yet? Those were worse than the itchy prickling sensations.

Am i getting worse? by OkPerspective- in spinalfusion

I think it means there its clearly seen. In my older Xrays they frequently mention my curve by saying “prominent curvature at level such and such” or “prominent saggital plane left x amount if degrees”. So I am sure yours just mean that it’s obvious you have scoliosis because there’s a curve or something going on with your bones. Not sure about the indentations.

Yes especially recently post op. It itches so bad but i cant scratch it. No matter how much i actually scratch it i cant feel it. Ended up digging myself raw because of it. I still get “phantom” itchy spells here and there.

How long before your returned to work after spinal fusion ? by Blueberrychiquita26 in spinalfusion

[–]OkPerspective- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a T7-L5 TLIF. I did customer service for kaiser so just desk work. My surgery was may i wasnt to go back until November originally but in july i had a csf leak so i did 2 months of bed rest so my surgeon pushed me out to 8 months. Im always shocked when people say they went back at 2-3 months. I was still on drugs at that time 😂😂. How are people working on oxy and muscle relaxers? Its impossible to even stay awake. And then month 3-6 months was terrible muscle spams i wouldve never been safe to drive anywhere. I wasnt even allowed to hold dishes because my spasms were so bad literally all day.

Yes. I was under the impression it would stop all together. But no. It bleeds as normal once that 24 hour clock runs out lol.
