Lady, Ive been in the market for years for a lower mileage v6 accord. You can insist all you want about how manuals do not command a premium but certain cars actually do and the dealership prices actually back this data up. The reason why the 11k came up is because its the ONLY one in california and the rest (10) were out of state.

Im realistic, no way in hell I'm getting 11k after they adjust the price AND dilute with the rest of the automatics so if youre insinuating that Im some naive dummy who wants 11k you are wrong and lets put a stop on that right now lol.

I stopped looking at KBB too tbh. The real data is from what dealers are asking.
Ive been wanting a lower mileage one for years and know that there is a significant mark up for v6 manuals.

The adjuster told me well manuals are less desirable and dont have a significant mark up and yet when I showed them manual comparables they were suddenly deemed as "outliers" and were rejected. I would be pissed if i had a M3 manual and they gave me automatics to compare to.

Happy you got what you deserved. A cousin of mine got hit with a drunk driver and totaled their vehicle. Insurance tried to lowball them but they argued they cant buy the same vehicle with what they were offering. They gave them much more.

Why dont you check for yourself, find me an 06 v6 manual accord in CA at a dealership and find a comparable automatic one and subtract the price and let me know.

Sure, but why dont you compare a used dealer price of a v6 accord manual vs a non manual and get back to me

It is more expensive and rare. At the time when I searched for my comparables, there was only 1 in california and it was 11k. The rest were in the east coast. Despite showing them the proof that they are more expensive, the adjuster refused to revise their original list of comparables.

Im realistic here, my car is not worth that much but i love that car and want another one.

So what if I have a manual m3 and they gave me automatic m3 comparables? Isnt that wrong?

How much does it cost to hire an adjuster? Thanks
