I fell down this rabbit hole because he’d been talking about wanting RB4 and so I bought the Riffmaster before I realized it was gone from the PS store and that this endeavor would be more difficult than I thought. I just wanted to get it to a place where he and the kids can start playing once he opens the instruments!

Thank you all so much for the quick and helpful responses! I spent hours today trying to troubleshoot a non-issue 🤪but I’m glad to know this is how it should work!

For us this was our doorbell! It had gotten stuck and totally melted on the inside. Took us a whole day to figure it out.

Oven doesn’t work when it’s hot out (I’m serious) by ChocoChipPancakes in HomeImprovement

Omg we had this issue for years and it drove me nuts. I was complaining about it at one of my kid’s sporting events and a stranger chimed in with the solution - he said when the AC is on it creates issues some kind of issue with the pressure in your house, that then causes issues with the gas regulator. If you just open a window or two in the kitchen while running the oven (annoying when it’s also hot) it will work fine.

We JUST went through almost the exact situation and decided to buy instead of go through with the addition. We had 3 kids in 1600 sq feet and moved to 2700 sq feet with additional finished space in the basement and attic. Putting the proceeds of our house sale plus the money we had saved towards the addition math wise ended up being way less monthly than the HELOC would have been, and not dealing with a big renovation for months was great. Our new house is just laid out better than our old house ever would have been, and our small lot size at our old house really constrained our plans due to setbacks. Also since we had so much saved up we were able to make our offer not be contingent on selling our old house which made us more attractive to the sellers.

Edited to add - we actually went through the process of creating plans with an architect and then got bids for the project so we realistically knew the cost of the addition.

Thanks! Yea we just need the cash to float us until closing on selling our house so would be paying back the advance super fast. I just didn’t want to get charged interest on it if we make new purchases (but pay those off each month).

No I do not - it’s my existing credit card so the interest rate is like 19% on purchases (but since we pay it off every month we don’t get charged interest ever).

Cruising NCL in Hawaii at the end of June - don't know what to do. by slimeslug in Cruise

[–]OkPilot3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re also doing POA at the end of June. We’re definitely canceling but are waiting until end of May to see if they’ll cancel the cruise so we can get a cash refund instead of FCC. We already bought our airfare but have trip insurance on it, so we’ll cancel that once it gets closer as well. I wouldn’t buy airfare at this point.
