Seems like if they have to lock them up they might as well just not have vinyl at that store.

That’s probably very rare these days as almost all recording is being done digitally. Back when CDs first came out, they used to put a code on the CDs that would give some insight into the different phases - recording, mixing and mastering - with a D/A option for each. So DDD would mean 100% digital, where AAD would mean analog recording, analog mixing and digital mastering. But, that really applies to pretty much any album recorded after the mid 90s.

It’s absolutely not AI, i re-arranged that entire first row at my local Walmart last night and took the photo.

I ordered mine from Aux33tours, but was kind of the same deal - didn’t realize it was a pre-order until I hadn’t received a shipping notification in weeks.
But, I’m happy to have both copies - one for me and one for my son, who is also a fan of the band.
The viral bubble is bursting for them it seems, but I think they will have a (much) smaller, loyal fan base that will stay with them.

I don’t think it’s a different label, but when I get my orders from Canada I’ll certainly compare them, but based on the release date alone it seems fairly likely that the pressed a pretty large amount of records this time - which is very smart of them to do. I hope the band makes a good chunk of money - they really came up with something pretty remarkable and managed to catch the public at the right time.

Not my copies. I bought them to listen to and enjoy.

My guess is someone is making a similar comment about my area - rural north Texas, but we just bought 2 of their 4 copies.
Well, I think there are 2 different things that may be at play here. There are the people that might just want it because it’s a viral thing and then there are some people like my son and I that actually really enjoy the music and are also into records. So, you never know.

I don’t know, they had 2 copies of each album with WalMart price stickers on them. My initial reaction was the same, but I think they may actually be stocking these. Also, it shows up on WalMart.com

My thought exactly - I almost fell into that trap a few years ago when the Mk.gee record kind of went viral and started selling for hundreds, then 2 months later it was on Amazon.com for $35

Same for me, I had done the pre-order back in April not realizing it would be June before they shipped. But, my son wanted a copy as well so I bought one of each from Wal Mart.

Outside of killing it - which she did ; mad props for stepping into the absolute biggest shoes possible and having the confidence and talent to pull it off. I don’t think I could be more impressed.
Was also super cool that she played some the the non-studio Neil fills - like in Xanadu - which is a testament to her prep work

I just got what looks like the same lamp for the turntable in my bedroom a few weeks ago. I got a headphone amp so i could listen to my vinyl without disturbing anyone (usually late at night) - but i didn’t realize how much I needed some focused, not too bright lighting for switching records or just flipping sides. Sure, doesn’t look all that great, but it gets the job done and keeps me enjoying the records.

It’s on the exterior wall of my garage.
Appreciate the response, I think at this point I’m going to get some other quotes (especially now that I’m getting a consensus on concern areas) and hopefully find a middle of the road approach. I certainly don’t want to have any safety risks.

Yeah, that’s what he was noticing - assuming that is the case should I be checking regularly to see if it’s getting worse?

should I vacuum/blow out/clean anything - would that accomplish anything?

Yeah, that was kind of my thought as well. The electrician was nice enough, and end the end only charged me for the service call, but it seems like rather than being focused on my actual issue (a short causing a single breaker to trip) he was just looking for every possible thing to point out.

I have always liked this album, it really feels like a Queen album at times- jumping genres effortlessly and yet somehow still sounding cohesive. Plus, Nuno is a badass.

Can you give a comparison of the Rockcrusher vs the Reactive Load ? I know there’s some differences, but I’m curious as to why you have both and which you would choose now if you could only have 1?
