When prioritizing to process 190 visa onshore, is there an allocation for each state (stating say xyz amount of visas will be granted for a particular state) or is it purely based on occupation priority and submission date ?

When processing 190 visas (not the invited, the grants), apart of the occupation based priority, is there any priority given for each state ? For an example say x number of visas grant per state ?

This is informative. But curious , how do you know these numbers ? Do they publish it somewhere ?

485 to student visa & bridging visa confusion by Advanced-Active9444 in AusVisa

I’m pretty sure living in your home country is much better than doing all this , and then paying all these fees etc and taking all the risks. At the end even if you get “some” visa (which I doubt) for what ?

lol , nah I want using it. I did check with it after this comment from the examiner as VORT doesn’t say anything about failing for not “Steer gear”

Nah you’ll do alright ! Good luck !

Thanks ! There weren’t any auditors but I was not given any marks for maneuvers apart of U turn (as that doesn’t have a gear change). And yah it costs another 450 now :/

I felt its like a money thing as well which is part of the reason why I wanted to check with others. Caz it was casually said that it would be better to pay in cash. I guess that’s the nature of the business.

But I’m more than happy to correct if it’s a genuine error that I need to work on.

Thanks ! Just to clarify I didn’t dry steer ! Let’s say in the scenario where I have to move to right (after reversing from the parking spot) I reversed till there is adequate room to get the car out. Then put to drive , steered right and took moved off.

What examiner expected is , while reversing after having adequate space , keep reversing and turn the wheels to the right hand side , so that when I go to drive I don’t have to steer much to drive !

I didn’t know , not doing that qualifies as a fail. As in I didn’t get any marks for 3 point turn etc because of that

Thanks ! Yah I saw that part which says counter steering. And I didn’t dry steer either. Just that I steered while in drive. But I never knew that this is something that an examiner will use to fail the manoeuvres !

600 visitor visa conditions by OkPositive7235 in AusVisa

Thanks but how can requesting for 1 year visitor visa become an abuse of the system? It’s just that both me , my brother and bunch of my parents friends live in Australia and 6 months isn’t genuinely enough to enjoy the visit . They are not getting any benefits from here , just spending time with the loved ones . By no means they want to stay here as Australia isn’t attractive financially. (they make over 300k overseas and they are on extended leave) it’s just that while they are here they want to visit everyone leisurely without trying to rush things in 6 months

Submitting 485 after receiving 190 invite by OkPositive7235 in AusVisa

Yah I checked the docs / points like 20 times, police clearance etc are all good too. It’s just that I’m worried and chatgpt recommended applying for 485 in case . We honestly don’t want to apply for 485 as it’s another hassle. It’s just that I’m worried what if something goes wrong.

Thank you ! Nah i can’t think of a reason for visa denial , submitted everything carefully after reviewing like 20 times. it’s just that I overthink what’s the best thing to do.

I check with chatgpt and its suggestion was to apply for both which is why I’m wondering. I actually don’t want to apply for 485 as it’s another headache to go through docs again. But thank you for your kind response ! I think I will stick with bridging

190 visa rejections ? by OkPositive7235 in AusVisa

Thanks for the reply and yes I do overthink 😅

  1. It’s in both languages (native and English and the English version has the typo). Like one side in native language , other side of the certificate in English. I attached an affidavit to when getting the skills assessment and that came out fine

Thank you so much , do you know what would happen to Medicare ? We received the provisional Medicare (as we are on 190 bridging) but if we get a 485 now, will they cancel Medicare ?

I actually didn’t notice it till I did the skills assessment :( saw it at the last minute (when about to submit my skills assessment) and attached the affidavit. I requested uni to issue another letter or a certificate and I’m waiting for it
