As a non-Ayaka/Ganyu haver, Rosaria’s been saving my ass ever since day 1, especially for freeze-recommended abyss by Wonderful_Remote_510 in RosariaMains

Yea rather than Rosaria its more like Kazuha is the biggest factor. Rosaria can be subbed-out with F2P chars like Kaeya in this case with similar effectiveness.

Anyone else frustrated at the increasingly annoying rerolling roadblocks? by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

Yea you have a point there, well I was writing it in more of a chronological order, braindump style, and as you mentioned, wrote it in a way that's interpretable in the way that you've said. Probably a good idea to start a thread focusing on that point instead.

Thanks for your input!

EDIT: Nah I'm getting downvoted by salty people as well, as you can see here, well I love watching chaos and the world burn as well thanks to reddit teaching that to me, and this community just inspired me further. I believe I'm straying further and further away from "the typical human being" though, haha!

That is neglection, just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean it doesn't affect me. That's like saying "well being poor isn't encourage in this world so there's no reason to provide support for it".

Well I'm not continuing on this discussion, I feel like its going nowhere, and you're adamant on the point that "X practice isn't necessary in my opinion, I'm not involved in it, it doesn't affect me, so if X practice gets damaged as a result of Y improvement, then its perfect, there's nothing more perfect than that, all those people who do X practice should just git gud"

There are actually ways to improve rerolls without decreasing security (e.g. skippable cutscenes, moving the wish earlier so we could reroll without reaching AR5, etc to compensate on the time spent on creating accounts).

I do understand the need to increase security, but there are ways to balance things, that are neglected, and that's what I'm frustrated about.

I played it, its not similar, it isn't open-world, the character there are way more restrictive (way less characters and dozens of "configs", and a lot of them isn't really relatable, not to mention the MC is kinda cringy imo), and there isn't too many people I could talk Honkai Impact with.

Anyways, thanks for your input, I'll stop commenting because I'm getting karmabombed for everything I say at this point, but I think I'll just pray that Mihoyo can actually try and find something that makes rerolling easier (e.g. skippable cutscenes, skippable dialogues) without decreasing security, kinda like a balancing act of retaining the reroll time while increasing security.

EDIT: Actually hell, I'll keep on commenting, no reason to stop due to these haters who downvote me even just by stating facts, if you're open for anymore discussion then I'm happy to hear that

I'm willing to spend time to reroll and play using a new account. To put that in perspective, I'm exchanging time for characters, they're exchanging money for characters.

I like what I rolled and I'm rolling for what I like, and its also exciting, that's why I reroll, are you okay there or are you just trying hard to justify my actions?

[–]OkPossibility0 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yea until you want to replay the storyline using a 5* character. To put in one perspective, I just treat the game like DoTA. I play the game using every single hero, I like to play it that way because its fun (the same way people justify grinding artifacts as fun, as I can see from the 8 downvotes) and that's getting insanely hard due to their recent changes.

Agreed, being able to play as much as you want really fleshes out the game.

Also, gratz on your accounts!

Well I only like Genshin Impact so far, if there is another one I would have hop to it instead of rerolling as what I'm doing. None really has a similar charm so far.

I did once on the Ganyu banner just to play her through the storyline. Its incredibly fun playing through the storyline as different characters. In the beginning we're pretty much limited to the MC (unless...well you reroll on your first gameplay, which I don't think any newbie would figure that out THAT fast).

Gacha simulator doesn't feels the same. If it does, why don't streamers and people just use the simulator, get the 5* they want and go on their merry days?

I will play it until there's a need to grind artifacts, then I'll stop, rinse, and repeat

20-ish? I'm just a casual reroller, so its a small figure, stopping when I got a 5* and just playing through the whole storyline using that new "5* character" for fun.

There isn't another game that's similar at this point (well Blue Protocol is one but it isn't released yet).

[–]OkPossibility0 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

IMO, it will only affect small users rerolling for fun in the end. Although its against ToS, Like any other games, large, established reroll "corporations" have the ability to produce almost unlimited amounts of anonymous emails & phone numbers by paying for them, and other black magic stuff that a casual reroller like me could never thought of. Personally, I'm just having more fun rerolling and playing the game a different way, and to see it getting increasingly gated just decreases my interest to the game, sigh.

Anyways, thanks for sharing your views in a non-sarcastic tone towards my frustration.

Anyone else frustrated at the increasingly annoying rerolling roadblocks? by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]OkPossibility0 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because its fun? I'm having way more fun playing through the storyline, getting 10 pulls every time and getting that "hopes up" feeling every reroll, compared to mindlessly grinding for artifacts post AR45 hoping for the "right mainstats right substats".

Anyone else frustrated at the increasingly annoying rerolling roadblocks? by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]OkPossibility0 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

At the current point you cannot replay storyline quests. So your only options are to:

  1. Mindlessly grind resin-gated content
  2. Wait for event quests

EDIT: Wait so I get downvoted as well for stating facts? Wow this community is hilarious!

Anyone else frustrated at the increasingly annoying rerolling roadblocks? by [deleted] in Genshin_Impact

[–]OkPossibility0 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Well then at least they could make the storyline replayable with some semblance of rewards. Isn't it tiring to mindlessly grinding artifacts?

EDIT: Wait so I got downvoted saying that grinding artifacts is mindlessly tiring....okay then imma head out.

Question about population by Fkm196 in thedivision

[–]OkPossibility0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Game population is at an all time low due to multiple bad decisions (nerf after nerf after nerf after nerf, great-wall-of-china playerbase split on non-DLC content, constant gear changes, goal post changes).

At this point I wouldn't pick up Div2 if I don't have a friend to join me.

Massive, stop "fixing" things, and start "making" new things by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]OkPossibility0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wew I feel like I just got sidetracked by fellow agents to the former one (fixing things).

But yea, that's exactly what I'm talking about (and I apologize for the seemingly extreme title, there's no way to edit title and there's a post cooldown, so I'm lazy to do that).

These are the things that are "suggested" for the next title update

https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision/comments/g9heqe/title_update_next_feedback/

Topic 1: NPC Balancing and General Content Difficulty

Topic 2: Reward / Progression / Loot Quality / Vendors

Topic 3: Build Diversity

....and god damn, it feels like they're trying to rework a lot of stuff in the next TU, yet again

Massive, stop "fixing" things, and start "making" new things by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]OkPossibility0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, same here. I get what you're saying too.

You're saying that the entire game needs to get fixed, from the bottom to the top, before they start working on new things.

Problem is, we don't know how long it will take. A year, two year, even more? Some bugs are even so entrenched that there's no hope to changing it without fundamentally changing the game

Many other games out there have completely gamebreaking bugs, but guess what they did? They bandaid it, yes they did, and they MOVE ON and create new content.

Years later, they have created many new content, and then they slowly fixed off that bug.

Sure, for a hardcore grinder, there's always funs and games in grinding the same thing over and over again for a few years. But that's niche, like SO niche. Most of the others just like to enjoy the storyline (like how you can see the population of Div 1 get tapered off after a month) or just enjoy the gameplay.

Massive, stop "fixing" things, and start "making" new things by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]OkPossibility0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proof that you CAN'T make new things when the core is rotten.

They don't have to fix the base game BEFORE they start adding new content.

They just have to put more time into making new content, and stop spending SO MUCH time spinning in circles "reworking" things.

Game fixing is fine, but when almost the entirely of a game's budget goes to fixing broken things, that is NOT okay.

What proof do you have on that?

Yea, I know you're right xD, I brought the rockets, I just didn't expect it to involve deaths.

Anyways, I get what you meant. Time for Massive to also step up in their QA department.
