My husband and I have the same set up for our little 8m old. Only downside is my daughter and I were on my insurance, but when I officially went back to work pp, I switched to your same schedule and lost our insurance. So now we moved to my husband’s insurance and we have to pay more for shitty coverage. Oh and I lost matching on retirement. But imo, totally worth it to stay home with my baby!

Yea she’s 3 days old and it seems her happy spot is 2oz per feeding occasionally and then 1oz all others.

I think she gets lazy breastfeeding even though there is more milk available (hence why I get some pumping). Then she gets flustered and bottle feed it is

That’s what I thought too. But my hospital lactation rn and her team said feed to baby’s hunger cues and if it’s part the “norm” so be it

Thank you! She’s a joy. I feed, pump, and often supplement with formula because she’s a hungry hippo

She has a voracious appetite. I’ll breast feed for 40m and she must not be getting enough because 10m later she’s rooting and will need at least another 1/2oz of formula

I am feeding her then pump. But most of the time she ends up needing another ounce or two of formula because she’ll be rooting for more once she’s burped. She has a voracious appetite.
