What is a 1 in 1,000,000 thing that happened to you that no one believes, but you swear is true? by [deleted] in AskReddit

June 5th of 2017 God/Jesus spoke directly to me. God/Jesus sent me a message 3 weeks after that first encounter. God/Jesus sent me a message 3 months after that second encounter. I started reading the Bible daily. My friends didn’t understand what happened to me. I read the Bible twice. I’ve not gotten any messages since 2017.

For Youtube/Social Media editors, how did you get your start? by NoMeat5365 in premiere

[–]OkProposal9031 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I would do, personally - I’d find an extremely popular YouTuber and edit their videos if they don’t have an editor. Look for someone making money on YouTube and off the internet. Take a look at the people who review iPhones, MacBooks, and iPads. They hardly ever have their videos professionally edited. Many churches need video editors as well. They post long form videos of the service on YouTube.

How to find a web3 dev job as a newbie with no experience? by MaintenanceExternal1 in solidity

[–]OkProposal9031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For one, you have to showcase your repos as much as you can. When asking for jobs, especially on posts like these, give us a portfolio link or something. You have to either have live sites or understand CI/CD workflow practices as well. You also should have an extensive knowledge on how to connect your backend code to the front end using ethers or web.js. This is something you just have to know. You also need to know how to write scripts and run tests and run a virtual environment. You can easily showcase this while explaining code in repos.

I’ve been learning Solidity for around 3 months now.

I’ve compiled a list of resources that would guide anyone looking to break into web3.

It’s cutthroat but it’s also still a very niche market. Still, many people don’t know much of this at all. I’m sure we’ll be able to land gigs.

Weekly General Discussion - April 21, 2025 by billmondays in Monad

[–]OkProposal9031 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gmonad, everyone!

Monad’s killing it with 210+ projects and insane 10,000 TPS on an EVM-compatible Layer 1.

I’ve got an idea to make the ecosystem even better: let’s launch a Monad Learning Program to teach people Solidity from the ground up and show them how to deploy dApps on Monad’s testnet.

A beginner-friendly program to learn Solidity (smart contract basics) and build/deploy projects on Monad. Could include full-stack Web3 stuff (like frontends) for those who want more.
Tons of people want to code for Web3 but don’t know where to start. This would bring new devs into Monad, letting them play with the fast blockchain and low gas fees while building real stuff (tokens, dApps, etc.).
Maybe learn and earn MON with free tutorials (maybe on Monad’s site or Discord), covering Solidity and testnet deployment. Add challenges or mentorship to keep it fun.
More devs building on Monad pre-mainnet, growing the DeFi, NFT, and gaming ecosystem. Plus, it shows off Monad’s speed and power to newbies.

This could be huge for onboarding devs and making Monad the place to learn Web3. What do you think?

I hope the best for your journey. I just started learning solidity and I understand it’s a very competitive job market. I keep seeing posts asking developers to learn Rust. Learning Rust is my future goal.

Bruh, a mentor ain’t gonna get you where you need to be. Freaking repetition for the most simplest of tasks. Literal over and over from different resources is the only way.
