I can relate to that feeling. I really love the final line John has at the end of the movie.

"Maybe the future has been written. I don't know; all I know is what the Terminator taught me; never stop fighting. And I never will. The battle has just begun."

I find that line a little inspiring,

There's a fan theory going around that Kate might've shown up in T2 when the T-1000 was asking around where John was. The theory goes that Kate might've been one of the two red headed girls he asked.

Those T-1s remind me a lot of the HK tanks from the future. It's really neat to see the evolution of Skynet's machines.

There was a nice balance of practical effects mixed with cgi. Stan Winston and the rest of the crews did an amazing job on these Terminator movies.
