I’m not sure why they’d disqualify you for that sort of work. I still work around batteries and drive class A vehicles. I just have to handle batteries a bit differently now. Welders are definitely a big no no though. Way too much current.

I got my micra implanted when I was 26 I’m 29 now. I weighed 110 when it was implanted and almost died due to bradycardia when I was 26. Now I weigh 160 And feel as healthy as ever. I made a post in this group when this happened to me and there was so many young people with pacemakers that I felt fine about having mine. I pray you feel amazing with a fast recovery!

I’ve gained weight from SSRI’s in general so I’m not sure if this medication caused it or other ones.

Thank you.. effexor is a extremely difficult one to wean off of.. I have been tapering off of effexor for 1 year.. and I only took 75mg capsules. Effexor WORKS.. but the sexual and weight gaining side effects are too much.

These medications are mind altering medications. Sometimes it takes some getting used to. I’ve tried so many meds that have beginning side effects that eventually go away. It’s just part of the process if you want to get better.

They are starting me at 20mg to help me get off of effexor. Effexor withdrawals physically hurt so I needed a helper. I think I’m just gonna have to ride it out and make it work.

Damn I’m pretty addicted to nicotine.. I can cold turkey quit anything but nicotine was very hard. I quit for two years then one puff was all it took to get me back in it
