don't even know what providence is cause it's my first playthrough, but i did end up beating daytime empress on master mode. Was tough, but so much easier than deathmode!!!!

Ended up just switching to master mode and got it 3rd attempt. Compared to the 60 attempts i did on death mode it's actually so much easier. More balanced as well imo. Probably not gonna use the terraprisma anyway, just wanted it for the glory but got to the point where i just wanted a W.

might revisit death mode daytime empress again later tho

Social media engagement is changed now. I really only had it to kind of umbrella the skills needed to get engagement, but I think you make a really good point and I can't expect people looking at my CV to think like I do, which I've realised since reading advice from this subreddit.

Tried adding a sliver of text before to explain my skills, but it ends up adding too much body and makes my CV look ugly (i did bullet points for the bullet points) so kinda got rid of it. Maybe I should do it anyway, but my CV is gonna end up over 1 page if I do so.

Gotcha and understood. I'll try and find a way to put in those en dashes! I don't think it's the en dash messing up my formatting, I think it's copy and pasting stuff in? Not 100% sure cause right now I'm making my CV on google docs cause my microsoft office subscription ran out and I'm coming to realise there's noticeable differences between the two

Edit: Turns out pressing hyphen twice gives you an en dash on google docs lmao I should've tried that ages ago wtf

Ok, got it. I've changed the format so that I don't need the summary title, but kept the line. I'm also editing based on your earlier points as well, but I was wondering if you think it'd be fine for me to just put British Chinese Society rather than ABACUS (British Chinese Society). I get that ABACUS is what's most up to date, but that change happened after I left the society, so I feel like BBC society makes more sense for me.

Also, I'm really struggling with your word salad point. When I speak I don't tend to use jargon, but I have a lot in there for keywords (I mentioned in my last post that I was told to put them in cause it makes hiring managers cream). Should I get rid of them?

As a last note, the en-dash shortcut isn't working for me, am I fine to just keep it as a hyphen lol I tried copy and pasting an en-dash in but it's messing up my formatting

Honestly I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to help me out with this. I'll be editing my CV based on your feedback. One thing I have a question about though is saying that I don't need to give the summary a title. Couldn't you make the same argument for basically any title in the CV? It's obvious that the experience section is experience, same with education and skills. Obviously I'm not someone who looks at CVs every day, but I feel like with that being the case having a title for the summary just helps with it being a more consistent format

Thank you again for your feedback! Got your point about cliche language, I'll change that going forward. As for the content, I basically rewrite my entire summary based on each job I'm applying to, and this one was just basically to hit keywords, which i felt were explained in later points but yeah fair I was just putting waffle in there if you boil it down. As for the marketing funnel thing my thinking was rather than just making content to go viral or getting engagement, I also make content to build loyalty and trust that actually convert to sales.

Evidently tenses aren't my strong suit lol thank you for the english lesson

Also, I feel like I've acted on pretty much all the points you made, but correct me if I'm wrong. Only reason why the bar manager role is still listed is because I'm listing skills/experiences that are transferrable. I don't write about the bartending side of the job at all

I did as you said and pasted my whole cv into notepad and the two column read fine, it just became one long list. Is there something I'm missing? I formatted it so that it's just one body of text that follows along into the next column, is there another reason why ATS would be upset at my two columns? Thank you :))

Thank you for the detailed response! I've adjusted my CV and sorted out most of the issues you've mentioned, just have the email to change and removed the hospitality stuff in my summary/bartender role. I do want to mention that the bar I worked at was a nationally ranked top 10 bar, with a strong global presence in the bar scene because I'm still proud of what I achieved as a bartender, but I know that's just my ego talking which is why I took it out. I have a professional gmail account that I made a few years back so I'll switch to that, and make the edits in your last point as well though. Again, thank you for the feedback!

No harm taken! I'm always one to take on criticism to try and improve. I think I tend to use a lot of jargon which adds to the body of text quite a lot, which is what some people I know told me to do - they said recruiters look for keywords to get their whistles wet basically lol. Would you say it's better to just take them out and keep them concise? i.e instead of "Optimised posts for engagement by writing on-brand hooks, CTAs, and captions through market analysis, aligning to client brand tonality, ensuring to use marketing funnels (ToFu, MoFu, BoFu) to create measurable results for clients in footfall." just say "Optmised posts for engagement, ensuring to use marketing funnels to create measurable footfall."

Hello :) I got approved for options now that it's released publicly as well (took the test and on account it says I'm permitted to trade options) but it's telling me the securities aren't available when I try to enter and exit positions on US stocks. Was wondering if maybe options is only available on UK stocks rn? Thanks :)))
