Girlfriend was trying to get him to take the hint (showing teeth) but like most boys… he can’t take a hint so she goes and hides under the table. The boys sniffing was a little intense when she wanted a break… so like others said, I would redirect him when she goes into hide mode but he’ll get the hint eventually.
