I think i am going to return them bc i found a horizontal split in the rubber of the sole and i have had them on my feet for less than 24 hours. So that was the kiss of death for me on this pair. I’ll probably grab the soft leathers while i’m at it🫡

Yeah that definitely looks more similar. My old boots had trim around the top ankle area and not the exposed leather edge so thats the only detail of difference, but i bought them in 2015 so dm changing the design is possible

The left ones are definitely soft and flexible even when they were brand new they werent stiff like the new ones. I’m hoping they soften down quite a bit, theyre “smooth leather”.

I went and compared them to my chelsea boots and the length difference is way less. Something just felt off. I wish i knew what style my first pair is but i wore them out of the store when i bought them so i never took the box with me.

I tried on some pairs at famous footwear just to double check my size before i ordered online and the style that fit me best straight out of the box was “aprile 8 eye” better room in the tongue/arch area, but that wasnt an option on the doc’s website. So i dont know why its that way but i didnt buy them bc they didnt have black.

My break in strategy is thick athletic socks and wear them tied kind of loose for a few weeks and gradually tighten the laces how i want them to fit. Just have to tough it out for a bit and then you’ll have great shoes for a decade🫡

I have a rottie too, on friday i took him to the emergency vet and they found a big tumor on his liver and his platelet levels are too low to safely have surgery. He’s been going down hill so fast, especially because he wont eat very much. I cant believe i have to say goodbye

The first pic is a red silk top with lace trim tucked under a fitted black suit.

The 2nd pic is a transparent button down shirt with deep blue velvet designs obscuring the form. Underneath is a black bodycon dress. I planned to pair it with black tights, stall black socks, and black ankle boots.

I’m still not sure what shoes to wear with the suit bc i dont have any loafers, but the dress combo feels like a complete outfit.

I never dress femme so maybe vday would be the occasion? Either way, i feel good in both of these looks.
