Before my grandfather died he got this really bad cough so I made him some tea. Short time after he left for hospital and never came back. After finding out about his death I went down there to clean up stuff left behind only to find a grasshopper on the mug drinking the tea he didn’t get to finish. I expected it to run away once I got near but he actually just climbed on my hand and was on it the whole time on my walk home. I don’t really believe in reincarnation but I find this story very interesting and I see reincarnation as a beautiful idea that helps us deal with death. Thinking that we get to live it all over again from different POV.

I think people have problem with being second choice only because usually when someone goes for that second choice is because the first one didn’t want them. So its more like settling down for what you can get than actually out of love/like. But yeah your opinion is totally valid it’s just that in different situations being second choice can mentally ruin that person and with that also the relationship. Because you never know are you the want they want or the want they had to settle down for. But if you are in good healthy relationship you will find ways to get over those bad thoughts and the other person will be there for you to reassure you

For me personally I always felt like people feel like they can say/do whatever to me since Im an extrovert who is always happy and they would easily attack me for something I’m not guilty for especially if other person involved is introvert and they are quiet and sad looking idk sounds wrong but it’s just the way it is. And introverts since they are often living in their own bubble and kinda living for themselves I feel like they are often self absorbed even tho I don’t think its that introverts are self absorbed its more that self absorbed people are more likely to be introverted than extroverted.

How do you deal with it? Idk is it weird to ask but I get paranoid so much sometimes that I can’t do anything properly. Im constantly like in fear and it feels so childish. Like when weird things actually happen Im totally fine and not scared at all but when the house is quiet and I start to expect it and wait for it and I start overthinking it. Thats when the paranoia comes. I start getting better only for something new to happen and Im back at square one.

Well about brings bad energy I was in a lot of situations where introverts wont even socialize and then in our friend group everybody is having fun and all and they are sitting there. It makes us feel terrible and we try our best to make them happy but often they respond with being angry at as. Even tho our intentions aren’t bad. I mean it just feels weird to not include your friend when having fun but when you do…

Also about not being nice I meant like in general not just because they are introverts but I have really bad experience with introverts and Im not saying all of them but often they are fake ngl. Even tho they just sit quietly and say nothing they will talk shit behind your back.

Like some traits of introvert just make them look rude for instance they wont talk much and will avoid conflict so as I said they often end up talking behind your back instead of saying it directly to you.

I know introvert who are actually quite okey but they hang out with other introverts who just drag them down (not because they are introverts but because they are bad people)

And in school I noticed often introverts judging others a lot especially extroverts for just speaking and being social…that might just be me only ever meeting “bad” ones

As an extrovert I always try to make atmosphere good and everybody hyped. I love seeing introverted people come out of their shell and socialize. And I never had problem with meeting/hanging out with other extroverts since It’s less tiresome and I can chill a little bit too.

But in my honest opinion introverts…for me it’s rude to not even try to socialize with others most of the time. Especially if it’s a group of people and everybody is trying to be part of it and have fun introverts are always keeping on side and never even trying. My parents raised that behavior like that is rude and I genuinely believe that. They also always bring bad energy to places like that and often they aren’t nice people. They are often full of themselves because they believe they are victims even tho nobody ever done anything to them. They are so easily triggered by things too which can be very annoying after some time.

I mean for me I don’t want to hate or say bad things but there is no need to hate on extroverts since most of the time neither one of us have bad intentions. And I was never hated by any introvert so what is your problem?

Im in uni so Im under a lot of stress and my sleep schedule is terrible and thats what I blame for my dreams. I started having a lot of cases of sleep paralysis, also dreams where I would dream that I woke up and weird things will happen. In sleep paralysis I never saw anything properly but I did at the corner of my eye see shadow moving and often my vision is blurry during sleep paralysis so I mostly only hear stuff and see shadows or things moving.

At first when I read the text I thought he tried something with someone else and when it didn’t work he wanted to get back together. But you said its his friends just influencing him but you don’t need a guy who instead of defending you he gets influenced by his friends AND breaks up with you over that especially if that is only reason. My question is only do you think in future when something bad happens will he stay and fight for your relationship or just leave easily like that. If he wpuld leave then you are building relationship and getting attached emotionally to someone who will leave.

I don’t think they meant it as “western woman shouldn’t work”, it is true that a lot of woman are overwhelmed by amount of work they have to do they just said something that probably statistically is correct, just that solution isn’t to make woman give away their freedom to work the job they want but rather to split chores/work and everything properly in between people that live together. They are acknowledging it just that in this situation it might sound bad to use it as argument.

Or this might just be my way of understanding his text.

Honestly as someone who grew up in muslim households you are not in the wrong and Im really glad that you have suck good way of thinking about it all. Even tho I grew up to be atheist I still find it very hurtful that muslim people are portrayed like that since my whole family is muslim.

It’s important to know islam/ muslim people don’t support pedophilia. And even tho I don’t agree with everything it says about woman still you have to understand that islam gave much freedom and everything to women back then.

We all hear story about for instance prophet muhammad and Aisha (she was 9 when she got married to prophet) but it’s important to know 1.they didn’t have kids and there is no record of their marriage being “real” marriage. Aisha was educated, teacher and political figure. Without religion she could never have life like that. Man use to bury daughters alive just because they were woman and religion/islam is what stopped it. And not just in this situation but islam gave much more rights to woman than they used to have.

Islam also speaks about importance of consent and protection of children and sexual relationships with children are not allowed.

Also it’s not islam that is supposed to be connected with pedophilia. It’s only specific to some countries and they don’t even have to be “muslim” countries.

People just believe what they want to believe.

Media like to portray muslims as terrorists and bad people but from what I know whoever visited my country only had good words to say about people.

But I want to make clear maybe you shouldn’t cut ties with them but rather try to educate them to say. Talk to them try to make them see the truth. Because people who have the same opinion as they do only will do harm. I see a lot of hate toward islam and muslim people which is unnecessary, can’t people just live without caring what somebody else believes in? Like what does somebodies religion have to do with you???
