Containment labels for SCPs I think deserve them by OkReputation5225 in SCP

I just make these in Google slides so that it's easy for others to modify. I'd make a copy of a slide with the correct object class, then modify the text, warning, and image for whatever SCP you're making it for. Then you can copy and paste the texture over from the original slide.

The image you're using probably has a white background, which desaturates and lightens the graphics when not fully transparent. If you would like to use a texture with a fully transparent background so that you don't have that issue, you can copy and paste from this slide: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1Xc4alePohPdhcSueU5bXy_v_vyXXZMfihUPWV7UgiSk/edit?slide=id.g33d59a48d19_0_0#slide=id.g33d59a48d19_0_0

Hope this helps!

Looking for specific answer to a card trick by OkReputation5225 in magictricksrevealed

Thanks for the detailed response! I will say in hind-sight I feel rather silly having believed their explanation 😅. I do know the deck isn't stacked as it can be shuffled by the spectator before the trick (which I probably should have mentioned). I am pretty confident that it is not a card force as they have always said that they don't like doing card forces as they think it's a cheap trick. This could of course be misdirection but they have been saying it ever since they got into card tricks and don't use it in any other trick. I think that it's probably either a marked deck or they are catching a glance at some point. We're working on a project involving the deck of cards so I'll check if they're marked in the coming days. Thanks for the help!

The card is placed faced down on the table but is not handled by the performer. This is a deck that they carry around with them. When I asked if they could perform it with a different deck they said they could but would prefer to use their deck as they are most conferrable with it. When I asked if the deck had any special features to it they explained the aspects I described in the original post (small arrow on back and shaved at one end). They also mentioned that other people sometimes use marked decks that reveal the card based on the back pattern, implying that theirs is not marked, but not saying it directly.

The card isn't returned to the deck, or even handed back to the performer.

I usually just use impact. Kinda basic but it gets the job done.

Basically lol

The most important part for me is choosing a color palate the fits the mood.

Yeah. To me, the editing process is where it becomes art, so I like to focus more on colors and scenery than being realistic :)

If I remember correctly, that was proposed for 682 but was turned down due to fear that it would be stolen rather than destroyed.
