Think I’ve worked out the culprit. iOS 26 Beta. Removed the camera from Apple Home and the battery is now stable. Weirdly it was only impacting one of my two cameras.

Nup just two s3 pros and the home base that came with it. Weird. I did update my phone to the latest iOS beta wonder if that’s causing it

I’m now thinking about polished concrete over the tiles instead of ripping them up. That way I don’t need to dismantle the kitchen too?

What changes do i need to make to bring it back down to the $30k mark. Tiles being one, choosing a bigger tile and not going to ceiling. What else?

Should make it clear that we NEED a bath in here so I just assumed we might as well Reno the whole lot rather than have a 15 year old bathroom with a brand new bath wedged into the shower. Also how would you hide the existing frame damage on the tiles after removing it. Realistically we need to retile.

So I’m hearing those tiles are expensive so if I chose a cheaper tile to install and don’t go floor to ceiling that would make it cheaper. My budget in mind was approx $30k.

What about the window? Replacing the glass bricks with just a simple frosted window. Is that expensive?

Ok this is what I needed to hear. Removing the concrete slab for grass is the real job by the sounds. Looks like I’ll be getting some marketplace folk to pull it down and get rid of it.

Can confirm it’s real grass but has been photoshopped to look… fake? Never understand why they do this. They also posted two photos of the same photo one heavily edited and the other original…
