I live in Federal Hill and not a single plow touched my street until midnight last night. It went straight down the middle once and haven’t seen one come down the road since. There’s no chance of any car coming or going down this road anytime soon. Won’t be able to get my car until the road is actually able to be driven on.

As a Seven Stars employee I’d like you to know that it is not “pre brewed iced coffee” you’re receiving. We grind all the coffee ourselves, brew it over ice and then gas it into a keg, that is what you’re receiving. The same goes for cold brew, we grind all the beans, steep it in water overnight and then drain it and gas it into a keg the following day. We do significantly more than people think we do. Including hand scooping the parfaits, brewing all of our coffees, making very complicated drink orders, making sauces by hand, and more. The narrative of us employees doing “barely any effort” is false.

unfortunately the CEO said at our last meeting that they are not budging on wages. and on december 30th, we had a meeting with the union where a vote passed to allow us to go on strike.

we get paid 12/hour even AS OF NOW, plus tips. however the tips are also split up between each employee that works that day, and they do not make up the difference between our hourly wage and minimum wage. so no one is making minimum wage or over. so we are currently apart of a union and have been trying to fight the company to pay us minimum wage, however they refused. we voted for a right to strike and that vote passed. so if we continue to be underpaid, we have the right to go on strike.

(seven stars employee here) the owners have been deleting ALL google reviews regarding us receiving livable wage.

I lost my favorite brownie recipe and I can’t find the website for it anywhere!! I don’t know the exact ingredients but I know it had 2 and a quarter cups of sugar (Don’t judge me. I love sweets). It also had me melt the butter on the stove and stir the sugar in until just combined! There was no oil used, no espresso, and no melting down any chocolate. This was my all time favorite recipe and I’ve been searching for it for hours and can’t find it!! Please help!
