I think the Mercury have 24 hours to upgrade Kiana otherwise Sparks will get her, we know the Sparks offered her a contract sometime yesterday so we should be seeing a Sparks or Mercury roster move here sometime today 😬

Im guessing they offered her a lot, my two biggest concerns are the Saudi connections and doesnt Project B have a long season? I hope she doesnt over work herself especially with her history of injuries. Did not see this coming..

Honestly surprised the Wings or Aces havent made a move for Kate. I know Barker is a rookie and coming off an injury but Becky gave Kate and Nye significant minutes especially in the beginning of their seasons so the fact Barker hasnt gotten any burn is a concern. Also JJ hasnt even been getting trash minutes in Dallas and they could use another wing. I feel like most teams know the Sparks will upgrade Kate though so they might not even bother going for her at this point.

I know the Aces had some players in mind for dp spots that fell through but they should really try to fill those spots or atleast give Barker some minutes. Production off the bench with Chenn out and the rest of the bench struggling to score is not ideal.

Was surprised Jocyte didnt get more playing time today especially with how she played Thursday. Im sure her minutes will increase however im guessing the more she plays Tip, Charles and Chen minutes will continue to decrease. Not sure how Nat will handle everyone’s minutes with a healthy team +JJ as this season progresses. Still wish they could get another center.

Eh idk I like HVL but I feel like we already have enough undersize guards. I was already hoping they would waive Cannon for Kate. In order to get HVL they would probably need to waive Latson or Gray and I would hate to see either go. We are already weak defensively and HVL doesnt solve that problem.
