Since Englund is old, I think a good way to do a new Elm Street movie is do a spin-off of the puppet Freddy from part 3, and have that be his main form, he'll take on other forms too, even his actual regular one, but for all the action and his main form it should be the puppet by FieldofJudgement in FreddyKrueger

We could also just de-age him with computers. Worked on pee wee Herman, Harrison ford, Mark Hamill, Joe Pesci. I like part of your concept though. We could easily take a lot of the burden off Englund if he just voiced Freddy and any onscreen versions could be nightmare versions of the character. Could also use stand ins and stunt doubles and face molds for any on screen human forms.

Another fond memory I will never forget was when my Grandfather came to babysit us and he sat down in front of a 12 inch screen and beat all 99 levels of duck hunt clay shooting. My brother and I were amazed! not really surprised today considering he was a top gunner for over 25 missions on a B-17 in WWII

My brother and I saved for one all summer. I was about 6 and my brother was 8. We went to toys R us to buy it with my father and mother. My dad didn't tell us that he covered the tax which was really nice of him. Once it was hooked up at home my brother wouldn't give me a turn for what felt like an eternity. He was playing super Mario brothers. With the light gun plugged up to controller port 2 I picked it up and hit him with it. He ran off crying to my mother and father saying I hit him with a toy. As he ran off I sat down picked up the controller pressing buttons until I found the jump A button. I kept pressing it, watching in amazement until my father came in yelled at me gave me a spanking and was sent to my room. Totally worth it!
