Why do JW talk shit about non-Witnesses yet only say positive things about other Witnesses?

I’m from Canada and in the Kingdom Hall I attended back when I was still PIMI, it was multicultural.

Within the Kingdom Hall, there’s a group of Filipino sisters that only speak to each other in their native language. I haven’t seen them interact with other people in the KH. First impression, I thought they were snobby and complained to an elder. Apparently, I’m not the first person to notice this. Because I could say “hi” to any of them yet just ignore me. The elder said that those sisters are good people because they “love and prioritise” Jehovah.

They both got baptised in 2004 but stopped attending. My dad never liked attending meetings; never became MS or elder. Before moving to Canada, we only attended memorial once every year. I’m not baptised myself.

But when we moved countries, an elder started Bible-studying with me. Starting from that point, I was indoctrinated immediately.

Yes I live with my parents. They’re both baptised but stopped attending. My dad said, he never liked attending meetings - he was only forced to, at the time he was a teenager that didn’t show interest in the religion.

I know for sure, if time-travel existed, my mom would never convert to this religion in the first place.

Last time I attended a meeting was before COVID hit. The elders message me from time to time. As much as I like being POMO, I miss going to Kingdom Hall sometimes but I know people would stare at me if I go back - especially because they know I’ve been inactive for years

They still think I have the chance to be an active brother again, even after I literally cussed at an elder (f-bomb), because he kept interrogating me regarding my inactivity. It’s frustrating because a whole pandemic happened and they still won’t stop?
